This was temporary housing while I waited for the completion of my home. I signed my lease Dec 2,2020, moved in Dec 9,2020 and sent a email to management Dec16,2020 regarding pet hair in the carpet making the room uninhabitable for me due to allergies and asthma (see photos). I slept in the living room during my residency at Cantera because the problem was never addressed after several notifications.

STAY AWAY FROM CANTERA. Hannah Gomez and the management team are about as useless as it gets. Hannah will also speak down to you and treat you like you are small and uneducated (coming from the woman that acts as a "business manager" of a small leasing office ). They should be ashamed of the way they treat tenants. But don't worry, they will all be looking for new jobs shortly as Cantera is constantly changing hands when it comes to management.

The management is terrible and rude. Rent elsewhere, you can do much better. It's a shame because the apartment complex does have potential. Other negatives include an always broken gate, a cat infestation, water frequently turned off without notice, and lots of hidden/added charges to your rent. Most of these issues could be fixed by competent management.

I'm moving on it after 2 years of living here and I couldn't be more excited. When I first moved here the staff seemed to care more. In the last year or so, things just went downhill. I understand the pandemic caused a lot of issues for housing complexes but that's no excuse for a maintenance request to never be fulfilled. I requested over 2 weeks ago for my weather strip to be replaced because little insects were showing up in my walk way, No one ever fulfilled it! I even called twice on a status update. On top of that, the hallways are gross, never power washed or cleaned, so hope

I would like to tell you about living at Cantera Apartments in Chandler. The management has been the best that I have ever experienced anywhere I have lived. The maintainance has been the best. I could not be happier where I am currently living and plan to continue living here for a long time to come.

I loved this apartment complex at first and for a good amount of time, I'd say for the first 8 months. I am still living here till my lease officially ends, which would round out to 1 year and 1 month. I I was very excited to live in such a luxurious, affordable place that had so many amenities and friendly staff. This feeling lasted for about 8 months as mentioned above, until recently I noticed a ton of change over in staff, the lack of customer service and responsiveness with issues that were arising such as a gate that has been broken for several months with word that it is fixed and then

We have lived here over 3 years and have seen about 3-4 new "Office Managers" with each new office manager comes new rules and policies with no notice of the changes being made or new policies being enforced. Long story short for the past 3 years we have always reserved the clubhouse for our daughters Birthday it has always been a 150$ Refundable Deposit if no extra cleaning or damage is done we get the deposit back.Like always this time of year I go in the office and try to reserve the area we reserve EVERY YEAR for the past 3 years and was told they need 200$ for a clubhouse rental

We moved in Dec 2017 when I got home from military deployment. the apartment was all good until the end. one of the manager threatened me cause my car was alittle loud. it was like that the whole time and no one complained. She threatened me that she can have me kicked out. so I decided to leave and buy a house so I didnt have to listen to a snobby girl again. Before I moved we made sure everything in the apartment was perfect and no damages. We requested a walk through with them but they said no they wouldn't do that. Can you call this complex a controlled access environment? The front gate has been open at all times of night for over 30 days. I signed a lease and will soon pay for a gated community... the gate wwhen???
Update: I've been here about 30 days and the gate is fixed! Had an issue with my AC, it's fixed! Everything works and it's so tranquil it's everything I hoped it would be so far!
I hope it stays this way!

It always happens at the worst time but the AC in my apartment went out last night at 8:45 pm. It was 108 outside & the apartment temp shot up to above 85 in 15 mins. Called the emergency number and property management called back in 5 minutes and they installed a portable AC unit within the hour. Thank you Jeff ... you went the distance last night and then arrived at 8:30 am this morning to complete the repair.
I love living here. Quiet, beautiful landscaping, plenty of parking and a responsive management team steps up whenever a problem occurs. 5 stars for Cantera!
