The community overall is great with good people. The appliances within the house are good as well. My problem is with the fact that management fails to provide solutions for some of the design flaws. For example, the smoke detector near the kitchen is overly sensitive to smoke which makes cooking a hassle. Also, due to the apartment not being carpeted it is important for people to be considerate about their downstairs neighbor. We live on the second floor and try our best to make sure we are not causing too much disturbance with our walking. But for some reason I feel my upstairs neighbor are into

Unfortunately my father passed away earlier this year and my grandfather had a stroke 2 days after the passing. Due to these events I needed to travel to see my family and take off from work which in turn made me get a little behind on some bills. Rachael stepped in and worked with me to make things right and to help ease the burdens of being a little behind on payment. So I thank her very much for working with me! This is my newly updated review on this apartment complex even though I'm not living there any longer. "Why are you posting a review then?" you may ask. It's because I'm still dealing with unnecessary situations that has seriously created HELL for me. I have lived here for 6 weeks now and I'm very impressed! Yes it is a higher price point for the area but in my opinion I'm paying for the amenities (pool, gym, package delivery) and QUIET! I left the Wrigleyville neighborhood to be closer to work and for a much quieter living situation and this was the absolutely perfect move. The apartments are thoughtfully designed and practical.

Beautiful Place, moved in June 31st and it feels like home. The management is outstanding. The first day I saw the property I knew this would be the right place to start my life with my wife to be. Before visiting the apartment we went down to check out different apartments but the management there were rude and acted like we were wasting their time. What sold me on this place was Joy Thurmond, she took her time to show us the property and convinced us that this is where we want to be. So, the apartment itself is great, however the management cant resolve any problems that occur constantly. We moved in at the end of January, and first day the person from downstairs comes up saying we are too loud and be quite. Second time he was slamming at my door and yelling in the hallway like crazy. I talked to management about constant late evening parties and music that I had to call police many times so they can be quite. The music always starts at about 10 pm and it's so loud that the floor is shaking. I work full time and come home around 6 pm. If they don't like the noise

I love my new home at The Brook!
The outdoor amenities feel like I am at a resort. The team is attentive and accommodating to my requests.
I am the 1st person to move into my apartment, so it feels very personal, as if I own it.
Wish there were more attached garages available, otherwise it's pretty close to perfect...for me.

I just moved to the Brook on Janes last week and I have nothing but great things to say. First off I want to thank Joy in the office for making my moving experience fast and professional. Joy was able to get me an apartment that fit within my budget along with all my needs being met. The apartments are spacious and really up to date. Honestly this has been the best apartment i have been living in so far and I have no regrets on my decision.

My wife and I lived at The Brook for 13 months and have no complaints. We chose The Brook because of the location and proximity to surrounding towns, the Promenade, restaurants and entertainment, amenities, and most importantly living in a brand new community. The complex grounds, as well as the apartment buildings, were always well-maintained and clean. We also enjoyed the many "community get-togethers" that management organized. We would certainly recommend The Brook to friends and family.

Joy in the office is completely irresponsible and unprofessional. I'm pretty sure this is her first job or something because she is rude and has no problem solving skills. If you email her about a problem she takes multiple days to even respond and constantly has an attitude problem. I have spoken to multiple other tenants and everyone cannot stand her. Community is nice but I highly recommend using a different person in the office. She needs to be fired! Other than that it is a good place to live but it seems like there are more and more questionable looking people moving in. We will see

I was recently sent an invitation to the 1yr anniversary of this new community. I must say even though I didn't lease an apartment I'm sure thinking about it now. I would like to thank the staff and especially Joy whom I toured this property with. I had such a great time and the residents were all so friendly. The DJ kept the crowd on their feet. The catered food was really good and so was the variety of desserts. And last but not least they had my favorite chilled drinks. I would love to be a resident here if only the prices weren't so high. I give this place a 20 on the scale

I'm glad to read as this morning I called about a rental and shocked, shocked at the prices, well let me say I live in Chicago and I know the news has scared plenty of people away, however where I live I've been paying 1500 per month since 2013, now the owner is selling, so in short I have a unit 900 sq ft. beautiful hardwood floors high ceilings windows from ceiling wall to wall huge patio, nice size bathroom with jacuzzi bath marble floors, brand new silver appliances , washer and dryer indoor heated assigned parking and community tree lined beautifully like living in a suburb but in

I gave 3 stars only because my apartment is nice and Paris does care.
Living here since 8/17. Since, people smoke and leave buds outside buildings, people don't pick up their dog's waste, neighbors play very loud music and at times late at night. I expressed my concerns with Jason and Paris who I believe do care. For months now cars park in front of entrances and along the garages blocking garage doors. Twice Paris came out and took pics and plate numbers. Last night my detached garage was again partially blocked. I tried squeezing inside to only damage my car door. Expressed my frustration

Couldn't be happier to call this community my home. The leasing staff are super nice and friendly. When we came in looking for an apartment Rachael was super helpful in all our questions and concerns.
They also have an incredible gym which residents have access to anytime of the day and an outdoor pool and grill area which I can't wait to enjoy in the summer.

I just recently moved here a few months ago and I could not be happier. Our apartment is amazing and we have not had one issue with it so far. We have neighbors on both sides of us and I have never heard them... the walls and doors are thick and everything in the apartment is high quality! The community spaces are great as well, the gym is new and large and is open 24 hours so you can work out whenever you would like! The pool and grill area is gorgeous and there is a communal outdoor cooking space with grills that you can also use whenever. Everything about this community is extremely high quality

Very dissapointed in how expensive these apartments are. Sure they are beautiful and all but almost 1,400 for the smallest one bedroom apartment?? Really?? I mean its not even near schools or a good view. The only good thing it has is the mall next door. I was really looking to move here but 1400 is just ridiculous, not counting that it doesnt include any other bills. Hope they bring the prices down a bit because knowing how cheap most people are in bolingbrook they are not gonna pay all that money for an apartment.

Apartments are absolutely beautiful. The pool looks amazing. Location is amazing as well. Staff is friendly as well. That being said....
Prices are way too high. The base prices are ridiculous. Nothing is included. Charges for all utilities including trash and sewer.
Just so I can build some ethos. This review is not coming from a cheap person. I lived in a gated community for a long time and make a very good living but, just because you have money doesn't mean you are willing to throw it away.
