I've lived here for 3 years and love it! The apartment is conveniently located close to everything. The staff is awesome and take of care me if I need something. After a long day at work during the spring/summer, I love hanging out at the pool deck. If you're looking at a place in Uptown, definitely check out The Walkway!

Laughing at the people how are blaming an apartment building for moving into a “dangerous” part of town. Best maintenance guy I have ever encountered in an apartment building, you can tell how much he cares. It is also a very nice building in general. I suppose it is on the more expensive side of things but it is by no means completely outrageous and I would say it is pretty well worth the cost.

Way too expensive for being in a pretty dangerous part of town. Someone tore the garage door off our level and it hasn't been fixed in over a month, meaning the residence lot has been open to the public for that whole month, and they charge $125 / month for "safe and secure parking". Also, many of the services and amenities that were once included as well as events just don't exist. Wouldn't really recommend this place.

Despite loving the specific unit I was in, I could never recommend this apartment building. The area is unsafe, the tenants are disrespectful, and the management does little to help. Multiple reports of break-ins, theft in the 18 months I lived there. Huge parties even during the pandemic. A man once chased after me to gain entrance into the building. I reported this to the building's security guard and was told "well, if I come by the property today, I'll check it out". Not helpful. Every Saturday/Sunday morning the lobby would be littered with trash, empty bottles, broken glass. I once had to

So happy I decided to move to The Walkway! Management is so helpful and welcoming and the residents are always friendly. There are plenty of "work-from-home" spaces, from the common room with free coffee/tea to the poolside deck. The wonderful community is note worthy as well. From "banana split day" to the balcony Christmas decorating contest, there is always something going on and a way to meet your neighbors. The Walkway truly strives to make every resident happy!

I wish I would have read these reviews before renting from The Walkway. Five star service is a complete joke, try -5 service! They don't follow their own lease terms, and don't return your deposit no matter how prestine you leave the apartment. I am going to have to file a claim in court to get our deposit back as it's already 60 days since we moved out and all I get is BS excuses from this place. What a joke, STAY AWAY!!

Here is a list of issues over the last 11 months living in a "luxury" apartment.
3 management changes during my time, progressively got worse. Like the people at the front desk. Hailey does a great job for the apt.
Cars shot up by paintball guns, dysfunctional portals to pay(have to get ledger to confirm rent charges), hot tub was closed for the year, wrong total rental tax form issued, amenities promised and not delivered, no "gym" credit, no security.
Talked with new resident that just moved in last month, they made the same promises and they just found out it's fictitious.

This place is truly the worst. Management is unprofessional since the change to pinnacle(a few nice people at the desk) but we dealt with 3 different leasing managers while we were there. they were not helpful or even kind really .We have had SO many issues that went unresolved. Superficially a nice building but it's not. Homeless people in the elevators. We had a car break in and they sprayed fire extinguisher all over the garage and it was never addressed with management. Anyone can walk into the place because there is no one on the first floor to monitor. We had a leak in the apt above

My first review actually served a purpose. I am updating this review because since the complaints i have really noticed a turnaround in the staff and building as well. It seems like a lot of progress is getting made and they are working hard to fix the previous issues. Old Review: Love the building and the residents: hate the management company. This has to be the worst property management company I’ve ever dealt with. Pinnacle is the management company for the building I currently live in, The Walkway. Not only did they promise us happy hours and hosted breakfast weekly. We have also had our

The website for The Walkway begins as follows: "Our focus is to deliver the concierge driven lifestyle and five star service our residents have come to expect."
As reflected in my original review, The Excelsior Group knocked it out of the park in delivering this experience. The first night I picked up keys to the building three and a half years ago, they were having a free open bar resident event catered by Fogo de Chao. There was a weekly catered resident happy hour with complimentary beer and wine and larger events every few weeks (often catered by Chino, Wakame, and other nicer

Unfortunately the management company has changed, so my previous review is no longer valid. Pinnacle is the new management company, and they basically run the building like any other average apartment. They do put on some fun mini events here and there, but nothing compared to what the previous management company used to do. It's also currently 82º and the pool is still closed, the resident bar is still closed (has been for months) and the iconic hot tub is still broken. Considering those are the only amenities the building has, this is clearly an issue considering what the cost of rent is

For what you pay, go somewhere else. The building is beautiful but the lack of management prescence and security is surprising. Shocked by how easy it is for anyone to have access to the building. It is loud and sounds like a frat house most nights. There is no security or front desk prescence after hours. Really disappointed with management in this building, they seem very dismissive of concerns or issues brought to their attention, expected much more considering the cost of rent.
There is no gym onsite.
The location is the middle of everything which is great but, lots of sketchy characters

The Walkway is the ultimate luxury apartment complex in Minneapolis. Located right in the middle of uptown, it is the place to be. It is in walking distance to everywhere you could possibly want to go in Uptown; whether it is to the rooftop bars off of Hennepin, the breweries down on Lyndale, or Lake Calhoun. From a personnel standpoint, JP the concierge, provides the highest level of service, class, and friendship. In maintenance, Brandon goes above and beyond whenever needed. They provide a Happy Hour every Friday which is a great way to meet the residences and friends. I can personally say I

Have lived here two years, very positive experience. Of course the apartments are beautiful. But the staff, especially Alaina, have been top notch. As problems arise, they do the craziest thing... they fix them. Unfortunately it's time to move on to a house, but our time here has been great. Highly recommended!

I've been living at Walkway since they opened. It has definitely had some ups and downs since opening but the new management company (Excelsior) has been a great improvement to the building and actually listening to the residents needs. I also have to say hands down having JP as the concierge is one of the best aspects of the building. It wouldn't be the same without him. Alaina has also been incredibly helpful and made the living experience at the building get much much better over the last year. Great community of people and a the best location in Minneapolis.

I moved in to the Walkway approximately 2 months ago and have been thrilled at the unmatched level of professionalism, helpfulness, and smooth management that this complex exhibits. I am not usually one to write reviews but in the rare cases of exceptionally good service it is only right. I have lived in several different complexes, in more than one state, and am confident when I say I doubt you could find the type of service that is provided here anywhere else in the city. From the phenomenal concierge Jean Pierre, to Alaina the Resident Service's Coordinator to our new Property Manager Jamie

I am so glad I moved into the Walkway. There are certainly may options for luxury apartments in Uptown and I looked at them all--The Walkway was easily the best choice for me.
This building is waaaay more than "the hot tub". The unit layouts are all fantastic, and the number one reason I chose this building is that the kitchens are the largest/best in Uptown. The location and centrality to everything in uptown speaks for itself, and the Walkway staff works very hard to keep residents happy. My friends who visit joke that its like a "hotel"--they cant imagine a building that gets common area floors
