I've lived at the NEMA for 15 months and a couple of things have made my stay the most pleasant experience. We ask for a lot in Boston, the NEMA delivers. The apartments itself are superb. Lovely countertops and fixtures. My favourite is the kitchen island. Management is very friendly, great to talk to and very understanding and are proactive about addressing concerns. I've met great people at the concierge desk, willing to assist with anything at all hours of the morning (yes I've been down there to pick up a package at 3 am to a welcoming face). The amenities - the spaces and design are exquisite

Rachel in the building does such a great job with events. It really makes the place feel like a community and not just an apartment. I have made so many great friends here some of them will be life long. They do have some issues like anything, but nothing that can't be solved. I would like to see more forethought and attentiveness to the resident experience.
The events they do there are a good start

I moved to NEMA in Feb of 21 and I have to be honest, for the first 6 months it was quite unruly - not because of COVID and not because of Management, but because of a specific toxic resident who caused real problems for many other residents, including myself. Management did everything in their power to make things better for me, and I appreciated that (thank you, Nicole!!). Since the resident has moved out, it has made a world of difference for my experience here! I love my apartment, the views, the amenities, and most importantly, the friends I've made here! The building is always hosting events

My wife and I have lived in a 2BR/2BA unit since the building began leasing up in January 2020 and are breaking our lease early to vacate in November 2021. This has been the worst experience of any apartment building we have ever lived, especially when considering the cost of living in this building. I highly recommend leasing from one of the other buildings in Seaport before considering leasing at NEMA. Other new properties in the area include The Alyx, Gables, and Ora. All reviews for this building should be read understanding that it is apparent this management team has scrubbed for negative

NEMA is a fantastic building. I toured several apartments in Seaport before making a cross country move, and NEMA exceeded them all. The outstanding amenities combined with the beautiful and innovative units have made for a wonderful living space thus far. The negative reviews seem comical... how can you be mad in a place like this?

Hope you don't need help from the office - they routinely ignore emails and calls. If you go down to ask something in person, the "guard" at the entrance to the offices will just run back and be a messenger between you and the staff. You still won't get a satisfactory answer though. Rarely will they come out and actually talk to a resident.
Parking in the garage is a complete fiasco thanks to insanely entitled luxury car owners that routinely take up multiple spots with no repercussions from management. Sometimes they just park in places that aren't even spots, with no

If you're looking to rent in the Seaport, 100% look elsewhere. I overlooked the negative reviews, but I definitely regret that now. My apartment lacked ANY functioning outlets in the bedroom after I moved in to a brand new unit (for a week); my initial work order was lost and management never replied to any of my emails requesting assistance and flagging the issues. My dishwasher is also running brown water (still!), alongside a host of other issues. I'm sympathetic to the challenges of running a large building like this, but the fact that I can't get in touch with anyone when issues arise is a

I've had issues since I've moved in, but have yet to receive any follow-up from management despite multiple emails--so don't expect any support once they have a signed lease. In the first two weeks, I was without functioning outlets in my bedroom for a week, my dishwasher was running brown water, and the pipes underneath my sink were leaking, so I had to use a bowl to catch the overflow. Things were eventually repaired, but for a luxury building, this shouldn't happen in a brand new unit upon move in. Definitely look elsewhere (and filter to see the negative reviews).

We recently moved into the NEMA and can confidently say we made the right choice! With so many new apartment buildings in Boston it was hard to narrow it down. Icauri went above and beyond for us and made our move as smooth as possible. The unit and amenities are beautiful. Thank you Icauri and team!

Notice how polarized the reviews are.... either 5 stars or 1 star; the latter of which I don't really understand. This building is seriously as nice as it gets. Staff are incredibly friendly and nice. Amenities are top notch, yet of course they are limited or closed due to COVID (that's happening everywhere in the city). Apartments are beautiful and clean, and they have the added bonus of smart features. Absolutely love living here.

So I have only lived at NEMA for a month but WOW- this is by far the best building I have ever lived in! I've lived in a few luxury buildings (Boston and NYC) but NEMA really takes the extra effort to make it a home and a community. Everyone at the front desk is just lovely, the gym is next level- gorgeous and also has personal training services available, the NEMA app is so easy to use, and they even installed heat lamps on the roofdeck for us to enjoy during the fall and winter!
Additionally, the social events really make NEMA extra special. So many buildings *say* they organize events to bring

I moved in mid-Dec as part of the FIRST wave. I knew the building wasn't complete when I moved in and COVID didn't help speed it up - however - they have done every single thing to make it an enjoyable place to call home. I couldn't be happier nor more grateful to live here. I'm actually shocked with any negative reviews. This is truly a lifestyle building and I love greeting my neighbors in the lobby, halls or the amazing rooftop (weekend 'socially distanced 'happy hours are a social life saver during these times). Not only are the amenities 5 star but so is the entire

NEMA Boston is the greatest building to live in and in such a great area of Boston. They have thought of absolutely everything! The building includes work spaces, a movie theater, arcade area, an amazing rooftop that over looks the entire city, pet amenities, and the amazing gym. They are always having great events and awesome daily gym classes available. The gym is my favorite part of living here (never thought I'd say that!) but Luke and team are AMAZING. The classes are everything and more!! I have also been doing personal training with Luke and he is such an amazing trainer... I HIGHLY recommend

My husband and I lived in the NEMA building SF and it was the best place we ever lived - so when we moved to Boston and heard NEMA was opening here - we knew we would want to move in!
We have been living here since January and we are 100000% certain we made the best choice. What is not to love about top notch amenities, a friendly staff and a gorgeous apartment?
ALSO - since the COVID situation hit - Nema has been NOTHING but amazing. They provide us large bottles of hand sanitizer, they have a medical person downstairs taking temperatures of visitors and they wipe down EVERYTHING hourly. Nicole

Moved in for about a week and this place constantly impresses me with the newest building technology, customer service and attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and professional. Ellen is the head concierge servicer and she has experience from hotels; she holds a professional and personable demeanor while making you feel at home. Upstairs gym and other AAA+ amenities to come as well in April. I'm excited to make use of those when they open!
