I made a mistake and left home forgetting to turn off my burner. I remembered once I reached work and it was difficult to leave again. I was not sure 🤔 if it was on or off?
I called the office and Miss Cassie answered , she was very helpful and her tone was welcoming. She went above and beyond by going to my home and turning off the burner right away. She even called to let me know what she found.

We loved living here! The front office people are amazing - always willing to help and work with you. Maintenance was super quick, helpful, and always came right back if we had any issues. Our neighbors were very friendly, and we miss the location - walking distance to Fort Steilacoom Park and the dog park. We lived in a newly renovated 3 bedroom with our two dogs and loved it. We only moved out because of a new addition to the family. Great place, definitely recommend it!

Over the last few years this place has dramatically improved. The staff is really friendly and the maintenance is much faster than it used to be. It only takes a day or two to get something fixed now. I moved here in 2015 and back then it was a bit disorganized but the new management has really cleaned it up. For the price you get a decent sized place near the heart of Steilacoom and right down the road from the supermarket.

I loved living here. I was sad when we had to move. The office and maintenance staff is always helpful and professional. Maintenance requests were always completed in a timely manner and done correctly. I had no issues at move in or move out. I did not get charged for anything that wasn't reasonable. The only complaint is parking can be hard to find at times. If I ever move back to Steilacoom, I would for sure consider Harbor Oaks.

Awesome place to live. I believe in customer service, up keep and proper maintenance. While living here for almost 2 years thats what i received. They always have people there keeping up with the trees, roofs, and maintaining the parking lots. When i needed things fixed Conner would go out of his way to make sure that everything was up and running and Meghan and Conner would always ask to make sure it was still working when i saw them. The customer service definitely is spot on and Conner and Meghan helped me when i moved to Fort Bliss. Can’t wait until i can go back to Washington from my new

This is by far the best apartment I've lived in! The Leasing Office treats me and my husband with so much respect, you can tell they care about taking care of you. The maintenance crew are always ready to fix anything you need. Rent is easy to pay, and the neighborhood is so family friendly. Its definitely the safest environment-especially for those in the military that are moving here for the first time and don't know what to expect. Would 100% recommend these beautiful apartments to anyone in need of a home, temporary or not.

Military family of 3, moved here from JBLM, Lived here about 2 years. There are positives and negatives. On staff office people are mostly nice and helpful, especially Mike. The Staff doesn't ever bother us unless there is a reason.
There's a clubhouse with a workout room, restrooms, a pool and lounge area... however often no one is even there. Makes using the workout room a pain. the hours on the door are more of a suggestion when you may find someone there. The pool area is nice. It's real popular in the summer. some times the staff throws pool parties for the residents. workout room simple

I have lived in harbor oaks since 2013. I have seen 2 different managers in charge. In 2013 harbor oaks was excellent. A 2 bed 1 bath was $980 a month. Upkeep was excellent and maintenance was amazing. Now everyone in charge is rude. They drove rent up to $1300 for a 2 bed 1 bath, and the manager actively tries to take money from you. I provided military orders to be released from my contract so I wouldn't have to pay for February. He told me it was WA state law that I still have to pay for February because I gave him my orders in the last week of January. The law actually states that the apartment

I lived her for a little over a year and loved my apartment! My husband and I had a one bedroom non-renovated and it was the perfect size for the two us and super cute! We're very clean and didn't have a lot of stuff so our move in/out process went really smooth :) We never had any issues with paying rent (we paid online) nor any issues with getting in contact with management. Email always worked best for us; if we had a maintenance request they were always quick to send someone. Parking was never an issue, all of our neighbors were really nice and overall it's just a very safe community.
