Living here was an interesting experience, especially during the pandemic. Since my roommates and I were here 24/7 we noticed a lot of things about the space, both good and bad. What you’re paying for is location, it’s proximity to campus and the park are benefits for sure, but not at all worth it. For starters, the apartment walls, floors, and “furnishings” are constructed from the cheapest materials I have ever seen. Almost everything in the apartment is barely glued together, and will become damaged even if you are being careful because of how little money they put into it. It’s a

Ah, Norwich Flats. The name is very fitting, because this place really fell ~flat~ of my expectations.
If you are to take one thing from this review, it's this: the place is not at all worth the hefty price tag.
Let's start with the positives. I'm giving the place 2 stars simply because the unit itself is spacious, it has a private bathroom, and it's in a nice location. It's also very close to north campus and the business school, so I'll give it that. However, that's where my praise ends.

Norwich flats is a spacious apartment building with a great location relative to campus. However, this place is definitely not worth the money, as rent is on the higher side for campus housing. Amenities are in name only; the gym is unusable as the residents’ keys don’t work to access the gym door and the equipment is completely broken down. The garage door is always either stuck open or shut, the wifi barely works, and the plumbing is VERY faulty. Our sink disposal was broken all year, we had maintenance in 10-12 times throughout the school year and they never fixed it, they would temporarily

Absolutely terrible place to live. The apartments are not even nice compared to others in the area, they overcharge for utilities (meaning everyone in my 4 bedroom unit EACH paid almost $50 a month in utilities) not to mention how grossly overpriced the rent alone is. They offered NO assistance during the COVID epidemic when students had to move out, people lost their jobs, etc. Things were always broken (the garage doors would stay open for weeks, the elevator was broken for 5 straight weeks, fob readers broke). The people that run this building are greedy and do not care about their residents
