We understand the need for those families with early work schedules to find care that fits into their family's needs. While many childcare programs don't open their doors before 7:00 AM, we open at 6:00am for early drop-off service! From the hours of 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM, our early drop-off program will be in effect.
In order to drop your child off before 7:30 AM, you can sign up for this service with the Director. This is to ensure that the program is adequately staffed at all times. The fee for Early Drop Off is $10 per day. Our dedicated caregivers goal is to partner with you to create an individualized care plan for your child.

We have the answer, and it's the brightwheel app. Brightwheel is a free and easy-to-use mobile app that helps you stay connected with your child and their teachers throughout the day!
A non-refundable fee of $50 is required in order to have your name placed on the waitlist. After fee is paid, you'll be directed to our electronic waitlist sign up form. Please note: Payment of waitlist fee will place your child on our waitlist, but it DOES NOT guarantee enrollment. We do all we can to enroll all waitlisted families.
Your decision to choose Winthrop for your childcare, daycare and preschool needs would be an wise one! A short walk one block down the street from our center leads to beautiful Winthrop Beach, or scenic Daw Playground, located on picturesque Lewis Lake! Winthrop is a quick drive, train ride or ferry to downtown Boston.

I’d give 10 stars if I could! This place is absolutely amazing, there are no words to describe!!!! My son was enrolled at Odyssey for 2 years…from infant 1 - toddler 2. We recently moved out of state which is the only reason he isn’t there still (although we actually considered keeping him enrolled and driving the hour because we loved Odyssey that much)!!

I cannot emphasize enough how much we love having our two children at Odyssey. From the owner Amanda, to every single teacher and staff member, everyone is extremely dedicated to the children's learning and development. They spend all day doing activities that truly nurture them, which we greatly appreciate. The facilities are top notch, spacious, well laid out, with tons of toys for them to play with, and with a nice outdoor playground as well. We’ve been extremely happy with the care, education & overall service that Odyssey has provided our son. My son has been going there for a year and a half, since he was 18 months old. The curriculum, daily structure, social interaction & activities have all been very beneficial for him. We’ve also been both very appreciative and comforted by their response to COVID. Between the thorough communication, to the additional precautions put in place, we feel very safe sending our son to Odyssey 5 days a week.

My son went to Odyssey Early Learning Academy from age 3 months to 20 months. The facility is clean and organized . The teachers are responsive. My son was well cared for and I trusted them completely. We only stopped going here because we moved to the suburbs. I have yet to find a daycare that compares to Odyssey in my new town. They are also very affordable and provided food which saved me a ton of time after work.

I can’t say enough good things about Odyssey. My daughter went here for about 1 year. The only reason she is no longer there is because we live in Dallas. The school is well run, the administration is extremely communicative, the teachers are loving and care for the children deeply and the school was kept SO clean. My daughter loved going to school and I will forever be grateful to Amanda for running such a wonderful place. I can only hope to find a new place to my little one that is comparable.

My family and I have been with Odyssey for only a short time but have been extremely pleased thus far. My daughter has been having so much fun and everyone has been so helpful assisting while we potty train! Covid protocols are tight and the facility is bright and clean. A very welcoming environment for a toddler! Amanda does a great job keeping parents informed and running the show

My daughter has been going to Odyssey for almost two years, and we've been very happy with the teachers and the program. We toured a lot of daycares in the vicinity, and Odyssey was the cleanest and best managed. We were impressed with their separate infant room, where my daughter started when she was 12 weeks old.

Odyssey has been amazing. My son started there in the preschool program just shy of his 3rd birthday. A kid with no interest in learning anything, he has made leaps and bounds with colors, letters, writing and his vocabulary. No doubt it is all due to the amazing teachers and staff. He comes home everyday so excited to tell us everything he's learned and all about his new friends that hes made. He absolutely adores miss Farrah and was sad to move on the the Pre-K program this year but he really like miss Laidy and talks about her all the time. Im really impressed with the menu they serve! Our son has attended Odyssey for the last three years, and it has been a wonderful experience. It's a wonderful facility that is staffed by great people. The teachers are always so positive, patient, and kind, and they genuinely care about the children in their care. Finding a daycare is hard enough - but finding a quality daycare that truly cares is even harder...that is why we are so glad to that our family found Odyssey. Our daughter started there when she was 7 months old and she has just thrived. The staff are incredibly caring and kind. The center is bright, clean and well maintained and there is even a little outdoor space for kids to play when it is nice outside. Our eldest child has been going to Odyssey, full time, for almost three years (the little one is starting soon!). We have had a great experience at Odyssey and highly recommend. The teachers are engaged and the kids obviously love them and are happy. The management team runs the business in a professional manner and works with the parents individually to ensure that everyone's needs are met. The facility is new and bright and kept very clean. They truly care about the kids at this daycare and it shows.

We could not have been more pleased with our decision to send our daughter to Odyssey. We cannot say enough about the administration, facility and the staff. Our daughter was happy and cared for during her time there. We never had to worry about how she was because we trusted her caretakers so much. Unfortunately, we moved and had to start our daughter at a new daycare- and Odyssey has really set the bar high. Not all daycares are created equal- and families considering sending their children here will not regret it. We miss it so much!

We enrolled our son in January 2018 after being at an in home daycare center and we made the best decision! Our son has thrived since arriving at Odyssey. He has a few challenges (he is not the best eater) and his teachers take time and love in feeding him and his eating habits are much better. They have a great curriculum and a wonderful balance to the daily schedule. I highly recommend sending your child to this wonderful learning center.

Our son has been enrolled at Odyssey for the better part of a year now, and overall we are very happy. The teachers are great, the facility is new and very clean, and the Brightwheel app is really nice for us to see updates on our son since both of us work (in the app the teachers can post pictures of activities, detail when he has potty breaks and meals, and send updates about the school). Best of all our son seems to have a great time there. Like most parents we looked at several day cares before making a decision and we are glad we ended up at Odyssey.
