The dedicated and expert teaching faculty are awesome and the energy and enthusiasm from faculty, staff, parents, and students is palpable. Our family loves BHNS! Our Toddler Classes, for children ages 2-2.9, are either 2 or 3 morning or afternoon sessions each week from 8:45am to 12:00pm or from 1:00pm to 4:15pm.

Beacon Hill Nursery School was founded in 1955. Our primary mission: to nurture our students' innate curiosity and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Teachers, children, and parents all play important roles in the educational process. Located in the heart of Boston, Beacon Hill Nursery School's home is a beautiful space at 74 Joy Street in a 19th century brick building with two stunning playscapes.
Beacon Hill Nursery School was founded by Frannie Howe and Sue Lyman with the aim to "provide any child living in the Beacon Hill and Back Bay area of Boston with a professionally run Nursery-Kindergarten school, with additional cooperation from all the parents." The school opened at Shapiro's Antique Shop at 91 Charles Street.

Beacon Hill Nursery School seeks a trustworthy, self-motivated Full Charge Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to work part-time in our business office. This.65 FTE benefit-eligible position is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, GL postings, accrued expenses, payroll, and benefits, and performing general accounting functions for a two-person, fast paced non-profit nursery school business office.
