A very well run community. Professional & friendly staff. These people are quick to respond to any concerns. If you are new to the area, they are very helpful in recommending businesses close by. I’ve talked to people who have lived here before & all positive reviews as well. Sonterra staff go the extra mile to assure their residents are content here. Truly the best rental community I have ever lived in.

i was told i couldnt speak to a manager because he was in a meeting all day
no help, if anything you will waste your money renting here not to mention the towing fees ive paid 400$ in towing

Staff members are friendly and courteous. Access gates are conveniently located. Grounds are maintained well. Sidewalk accessibility for mobility challenged people is there, but it can be blocked if a vehicle is parked in the space. We moved into Sonterra Blue at the end of May on very short notice. Our house literally sold overnight and the real estate market here in San Antonio went absolutely crazy (total lack of inventory and everything vastly overpriced). We expected that going from home ownership (33 yrs) to apartment living would be a major upheaval. Not! Our first introduction to the complex was Lyanna; professional, courteous and incredibly helpful. She made things happen real quick. Living here for the last two plus months has been an absolute breath of fresh air. Any issues we have encountered have been dealt with

I recently moved out due to buying a home if not I would still be here. This place is clean the maintenance guys are awesome Carlos does an amazing job with his crew! The office staff is always friendly and very helpful they do such a good job with the events here for us they make it feel like home. I 100% recommend anyone to live here! miss this place already.

My girlfriend and I had a 12 month lease that was nothing less than excellent. The maintenance crew were very kind and quick to respond. I was accommodated accordingly! Management was great with communication and community events! We wish we could have stayed longer but we were moving out of city. Thank you Sonterra for making us feel at home !

I've been living in Sonterra Blue apartment for about 5 years now.
Honestly, It’s one of the best apartments that I’ve lived in. It feels like a home!!
What I like the most about this apparent that it is beautiful from inside, clean, quit, and affordable.
Regarding to maintenance, they have a very good skilled team, with very nice attitude.
Whenever I have any problem they came quickly, same day or next day maximum, and fix the problem professionally. (Especially Carlos)
I also want to give the Kudo and the thanks especially to the Manager, Leo Rodriguez, for always being there to help

Easily the worst apartment complex i have ever lived at, first off the place is the most cheapest " luxury " place you will ever be at the paint job for alll the rooms are trash, second the staff is completely useless i got my car towed from MY OWN parking tenant that i pay an extra $40 because there IS NO parking here so i was forced to buy a tenant and they didnt want to reimburse my $220 that i had to pay the tow guys for it but they also limit your guest parking pass and pool passes ridiculously. First of all, CHEAPLY MADE "luxury" apartments. They look nice but that's about it. Office staff is rude, dismissive, and shady. They held our deposit for 86 days after our scheduled move out date (which is illegal) and tried to charge us for a broken refrigerator drawer that they removed from our apt within the first week of us moving in & never replaced! We had to check back daily regarding our refund and was given the run around when we asked for corporate's number, even though they blamed the late check on corporate not doing their jobs. Had mold. Black mold twice. The first time they said they fixed it from the garage below. Hmmm. Then this and was blocked by the bed frame headaches. Sick. Now I know why RUN!!!
They really screw you if you have to move for a job to break your lease. They Never give you all that was promised when you move in, like a gate FOB. Always had to key in the number and had to go thru the main gate. It looks good online but do t let the pics fool you! RUN!!!

Lived here 15 months, my upstair neighbor is loud, I can hear loud steps, cabinets, cooking constantly using the garbage disposal more than what I'm used to. I mean loud which I'm not exaggerating because when I have guests over they agree.
Parking is an issue, it's either the complex has more apartments than parking spots or they don't check how many vehicles each apartment is linked to. I've had to park across or in front of the office because I couldn't find parking close by at night.

I hate these apartments!!! The policy is way too strict for RESIDENTS. We are only allowed a limited amount of parking passes, and every time I get home I never have anywhere I can park!! I have to wait hours just so someone can finally leave. By that time I'm falling asleep in my car. That is atrocious behavior for such "high quality" apartment living. Upon the poor parking, I also have trouble getting through to anyone in office about it. They will give you a generic "we're sorry you feel that way" answer without actually providing a way to solve the problem. They

I lived here for just under two years. I enjoyed the amenities, and the apartment had nice touches that made it a very comfortable stay. The only issue I faced while living there was dealing with a dog that constantly barked (which is just an issue with apartment living in general).

I just renewed my lease after 15 months of living here and I already regret it. The parking is horrible. No matter what time you come home, it's only by luck that you'll get a spot. I have waited outside my apartment for hours hoping someone would leave. It is very inconvenient. It is very inconvenient to have to park my vehicle in the front by the office and have to wake up in the crack of dawn to remove my vehicle afraid they may tow my car before what? 9AM??? There should be a limit of how many cars people can have per household. It's ridiculous and a headache honestly. Management

I have lived here for 4 years but the only reason is because i have so much stuff I don't want tor junk or moving. There has been parking issues for as long as I've lived here and other residents say the same thing. My boyfriends car got towed and we were not obstructing anyone nor on a fire lane. When I called I was upset and I said this was ridiculous and I asked what I was supposed to do if I come in at night and there is no parking. Her response was to say -did you look in the office? I love the low key community here. I have felt safe here for the 2-3 years of living here. We have never had any issues w/loud noise or noisy neighbors other than our bottom floor neighbor w/barking dogs (3 dogs). I don't think the staff have any control over that, though. I have not come across any party, loud or obnoxious behavior & our neighbors have all been lovely people. I love our view from the third floor as well. I am happy to be able to call this place my home (temporarily).

I've lived in Sonterra Blue since June of last year and I love it. The gates are always working and whenever it does break the staff is very quick to fix it. I got an amazing deal on a one bedroom top floor corner unit. I have good neighbors who are very respectful. The pool is amazing ! Leo and his staff are always ready to help with anything you may need. The maintenance team is super quick to respond to issues. The only reason I'm only giving four stars is that people don't pick up after their dogs. Every time I walk to my car I always see dog feces on the grassy areas. Parking

I've lived here for going on two years. I was late with my rent and charged $100, plus $10 daily. The manager Victoria did not want to hear my set back. She said her management company, Draper & Kramer, does not make exceptions... Pay the late fees or be Evicted!
I believe they are cold-hearted and impersonal. Each month after the 10th I see people's belonging piled in a garage with the doors open as I drive to work. I have also heard the leasing staff tell Victoria about how much stuff was left behind after an eviction.

Have been living here close to a year. One of the best complexes we have stayed in. Management staff is very professional and helpful. Complex is well maintained. Parking has not been an issue. They started assigning 2 parking-passes per apartment plus 2 guest passes, and since then spots have been quite available. Pool area is well-kept. I wish I could give Sonterra Blue no stars. First, know they'll go into your apartment without notice, frequently, for no just cause. Their only redeeming quality is that they have a fantastic pool. I moved to Sonterra after frequenting their pool in the summer with one of my friends, a former tenant. On the surface they are nice apartment complex. The apartment layouts are nice and the fixtures/appliances are nice enough. However, their new management company is absolutely horrible. The first misstep on their part was that my apartment nor my lease was ready upon my move-in date. Really

I love living at Sonterra Blue and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment. Management and maintenance are on top of things every time I make a request (and I can be pretty needy). They have dog DNA testing, so dog waste is not nearly as bad as I've seen at other apartments. My apartment is gorgeous and just the right size for me. The neighbors I've met have been nice, and I feel safe walking my dog after dark. The only tip I would give is to definitely rent a garage or carport space as parking can be scarce. Plus, the covered parking and shorter walk are

ETA: As of 06/10, I'm no longer a resident at this complex, but really enjoyed living at Sonterra Blue. The staff here are first class act - they are professional, keep their word and work with you if you have to move due to your house not being completed and your lease lapses. This is the situation I was in. Enjoyed living here the last 6 months. The complex is kept clean for both humans and pets.
