Most people are afraid to start yoga because they feel tight and inflexible. I always recommend the Rehydrate and Roll class. Why? The more hydrated the connective tissue is the more flexible you will be. We will be working with hydrating the connective tissue with using a soft roller and basic Medicinal Movement.

All levels enjoy this class. Joyce Savitz has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1984. She has a background in sports massage, ETPS, Swedish, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular, and Trigger Point Therapy. Combined with her knowledge in yoga therapeutics, clients learn how to keep their body feeling great between treatments.
Services
Joyce Savitz has headed various yoga and exercise programs around the City of Jacksonville since 1976. She has taught segments of Yoga on Channel 12 and Channel 4. She has been featured in the Times Union, Ponte Vedra Recorder, Beaches Leader, Jacksonville Business Journal, Water's Edge Magazine, Folio Weekly and Women's Magazine.
These are group classes that can be started anytime. Because our movement is so new, it is highly suggested, but not required, to do a private so that you have a good foundation before joining the group. These classes are for the beginner or for the person that has not been in class for a while. What we are finding is that day in and day out living dehydrates the connective tissue which causes the feeling of tightness and soreness.
