I had a great experience overall. I used my eye insurance and not a Groupon which seems to be the issue with some of other reviews.
Doctor Campbell spent a lot of time with me to make sure I dialed in my prescription accurately. The office staff was very friendly. Although I only came for new contacts. I thought it was cool they (Kenn) actually create the lenses for glasses in house. When I picked up my contacts Kenn was the person I got them from. He was professional and personable.

Great small shop. The front staff was incredibly nice. They were super transparent about all costs. The eye exam was also exceptional. The doctor allows you to dial in some of the adjustments yourself to alleviate some of the awkward “one... or two...” good selection and decent prices. Highly recommend.

This place is AWEFUL!
-they charged me at the storefront the regular price because I didn’t want to choose from their tiny, horrible selection of frames. That was in he fine print that I missed, that was my mistake. However, they then told me they would refund my Groupon since I didn’t use it, but NEVER REFUNDED THE GROUPON. so they charged me twice, literally stole my money.
-when I took my prescription afterward to where I ended up getting my glasses from, I put them on and THEY GOT MY PRESCRIPTION WRONG!!! Now I’ve spent a few hundred dollars and still don’t have glasses I can wear

I got a groupon and unfortunately groupon still sends you to the wrong address...the nice part was i was late and they still saw me and they did not rush my appointment. The gentleman that did my appointment had a lot of patience with me and my very difficult eyes. I had not gotten my eyes checked since high school. He had to do the eye exam twice and not once did i get the impression he was frustrated. When we it came to picking out frames the sweet girl helped me and again they did not rush me..mind you we had ran over closing time for them...and then the gentleman even said he was going to complete

I was greeted by Nancy and B when I went in this morning to get my new glasses. I was in and out of the door in less than 30 minutes with two FANTASTIC pairs of glasses. Kenn was able to pop in my lens and fit it just perfectly. Everyone who was there today was in such a good mood and I had a very enjoyable experience all together. 10/10 highly recommend, I won't be going anywhere else besides Optical Experts!

I am so impressed with Optical Experts! After I took a fall in which I bent the frame of my eyeglasses out of shape, I called Optical Experts to inquire if they could take a look at the frame, even though I had never before visited this office.
Upon entering, I was immediately impressed. Kenn was welcoming and optimistic that he could repair the frame. He worked on it for several minutes, then returned, successful! I was so pleased. In the future, when I need new glasses, Optical Experts will be my choice.

I have been to many optometrists and eyeglass businesses around the Phoenix, Goodyear area. Optical Eye Experts are just what there name is.. EXPERTS! Everything from when you walk in the door until you leave is a fantastic experience. The quality, the eye exam, the people that work there, the turn around time, the prices. Very poorly made frames. Mine started peeling within 6 months and was told they were not under any sort of warranty and I'd have to pay $30 to replace the lenses to the frames. I'm sure the frames don't even cost $30. I've never had glasses where the frame's surface corroded. I decided not to waste the $30 and got a call from the Dr with a condescending attitude stating that I MUST pick up my frames by the end of the week or I will be charged a restocking fee on my next purchase. Well, if you haven't figured it out, I will not be returning to spend another dime. :)

Good service but crappy prices overall with Groupon - you pay $39 for what’s stated as eye exam, single vision lens and frames. What they don’t tell you when you’re there is costs of frames, or additional costs until after your eye exam. Read the small print - you cannot only JUST get the eye exam only. So you are suckered into purchasing low brand glasses with added features and they change the wording when you get there instead of eye exam, lens and frames included it’s “$200 voucher towards everything “ ($60 eye exam, $40 non glare, $60 anti scratch and a bunch of low brand glasses

I recently went because of a groupon, and oh, man---all they care about it up-selling and making you feel guilty if you don't. It's sad cuz the doc is like that, too. I only came here bc I'm 26 and off my parents insurance, but I will be going back to my place of 15 years as soon as my new insurance kicks in. Don't do what I did and try to get by buying a groupon from them to help you while you get your insurance. Also, I called today to get my PD and Ken was extremely rude saying that it was I could not get that information unless I had been their customer before, but UHH,

Purchased a Groupon for $39 that CLEARLY states a "Complete routine eye exam (up to a $60 value)" is included. High pressure sales for a pair of $500 glasses. Since I knew the glasses were overpriced, I declined. Guess what ... I had to pay an additional $60 for the eye exam. I feel very ripped off.
Update: 6/28/17 I took the prescription from Optical Experts to Costco to have reasonably priced glasses made. I could NOT see using these glasses and paid for another exam by the eye doctor at Costco. He said my prescription from Optical Experts was incorrect, which is why I could not see

I had the $39 Groupon and I'm glad I did! I walked out only spending $79 :)
Everyone was super friendly and easy to talk to. They don't have a budget friendly wall like nation wide vision and they don't have AS many glasses to choose from but the glasses they do have are of good variety. The lady that helped pick out my glasses was patient and gave her honest opinion while I was trying on different pairs. I ended up going with her very first choice that she picked out for me and I am very satisfied! Also I love the fact that I didn't have to wait weeks for the glasses to be ready like most places

Fantastic all around. I purchased a groupon for 39.00 for 200.00 towards my exam and glasses. I have really bad eyes and I need some special features on my lenses and they had them all available. My appointment was quick, friendly, and personalized. I obviously had to also pay &289.00 due to additional features, but that is expected with my eyes. My frames are very nice and my lenses are anti-glare, transitions, as well as digial HD. They prices per add on were reasonably cheep. And the cost for repairs are low as well.

I went to the one on 91st ave and Thomas and best believe this place is a complete waste of time! do not got there they have over price glasses. the ppl there are very pushy trying to sell. bought a Groupon to save money not to spend 8times of what the groupon cost me. DON'T COME HERE! this people are shady! I just had to write a real review!

I'm in the customer service industry and worked in many doctors offices. I always try to go out of my way to give the best service and help customers or patients to the best of my ability. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
This place is absolutely terrible! I don't usually write reviews but feel compelled to warn you. Don't go here, don't buy the Groupon! If you do, don't try to change your appointment even if it is 24 hours before, because they will forfeit your Groupon. Thank goodness Groupon understands customer service!

I called today to ask if they would be willing to do an eye exam on my son who has Asperger's syndrome. I explained that I wanted to purchase the Groupon and just do the exam and that he has glasses and frames still under warranty from Costco and that we would go there for the new lenses in his current frames (that he loves because they are Spy and he loves that brand) if required. I was told that "it is a package deal and you are required to buy the frames and lenses from us if you buy the Groupon". I don't think so. Avoid.

I got a group on coupon for 40.00. I walked out of there spending 180.00. Nothing special with my prescription. Nothing was explained on the coupon. I got my glasses w/in a week. And w/in a week they where broken. Very cheaply made. I called them and they said they would fix them at no cost. There is a year guarantee/warranty on them. I finally had time in my VERY busy schedule to drive 40 minutes out of my way to get them fixed. Just to find out that they wanted to charge me $30.00 after they fixed them. Went in on the Groupon ($39 for $200 worth of goods/services, which was clearly stated on the Groupon site, R.I.F.) and was warmly greeted, shown every courtesy, allowed free reign of my browsing and frame choice (though the ladies both shared their opinions, I felt no need to listen to or accept their advice.) I was allowed to fiddle with the knobs on the machine so I really got the best vision option, and paid $109 out of pocket for the extras I wanted/needed, AND picked up my new glasses the same day.
