A family-owned destination resort on the beautiful Oregon coast, we are passionate about many things: personal enrichment, whole food, sustainable living practices, spiritual development, and community connection. All of which combine to embrace the philosophy of the Alsi Native Indian, the earlier settlers of this raw and tranquil landscape upon which the Alsi Resort lies.
Where the calm waters of the Alsea River meet the headstrong waves of the mighty Pacific Ocean, the Alsi (meaning "peace") honored and respected this land they called home. That sense of honor and balance are still felt here and whatever it is you seek, you will find it. Here, you will reconnect with your Self, nature, the spirit of the Alsi, the seasons and all their abundance, and real and local food prepared fresh daily.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely water view.
Our group had the steak, fish & chips, crab macaroni & cheese, and smoked salmon salad. All the food was delicious!
We also love the mixed drinks. Their bartender is just great. We tried the Manhattan, lemon drop (with fresh squeezed lemon), oatmeal cookie martini (sounds weird, tastes delish!!), and hot apple pie drink. All the drinks were so flavorful.
We had a wonderful evening!

I wish I had good things to report, I've been looking for a new place I enjoyed staying at in this area....this isn't the place. I will give full props to the front desk staff that checked us in, very nice people. The rooms are awful and smelly. Our coffee pot didn't work and the lobby pot is meant for a home and nobody took an interest in refilling it. Pretty sure our sheets hadn't been washed as we found certain 'hairs' in our sheets that could not have been ours. They tout the swimming pool as heated, it's not and was filthy. The restaurant needs help. Our sever was very nice, but the food was

We dont always get to get away for a family trip and we went ahead and booked a couple nights at Alsi Resort. I read reviews before booking saw some good and bad reviews but went ahead with them anyway. I tell you what they did not disappoint. Yeah the pool is not heated and the restaurant was not open when we went but that didn't matter to us. My kids got in the pool anyway and we ended up finding some pretty tasty places to eat. We are definitely going to return. Not only because the crabbing right off the beach was PERFECT but the staff was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and when

Service is wonderful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was being used. The hotel is family and pet friendly. An added touch to get 5 stars would be for the facility to add air purifiers in the rooms that are occupied. We had a wonderful and lovely time here. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is way nicer than the photos on their website suggest. The rooms are cleaner than expected. The grounds are bigger. The pool has a view of the bay. The beach is a 5 min walk away. The beach here is gorgeous by the way. It’s quiet. They have quiet hours after 10pm, but you can chill at the fire pits all you want. It’s solid for the location and price.

Great place for quietness by the bay off main drag.
Sort of big parking until boat trailers take over on weekends hard to find parking after 8 pm. Restaurant part of motel to the side.
Good place to stay with cooler weather no AC.
Very slow or no internet in morning.
Clean good upkeep and Great Staff. Thanks Mike for your help getting us on end and enjoyed tub.

What did brown do to this hotel:
The brown carpet, brown carpet baseboards, brown bed spreads, and brown pillow shams all give the place a "we are hiding all the nasty stains" vibe. I dubbed it Schitt's Creek HotelWe refused to unpack, strongly considered sleeping in our car and RACED out of there at Dawn's first light. They didn't even provide soap in the guest rooms, giving it an extra special gross feel.
Allow me to further respond:
- I'm guessing the manager specializes in sarcasm. That's always a great way to respond to guests.
- is there a hotel other

Do NOT stay here! Worst Birthday vacation ever. Checked out a day early due to overwhelming chemical smell from tattered and torn carpet. Caused me respiratory irritation and no sleep because I couldn't have enough fresh air come in from the windows because the screens are bent and fell out. Only could have the windows cracked open so my dog didn't jump out the window. The lamps were smashed with holes, the carpet had exposed metal spike strips into the bathroom, cut our feet. The bed linens were stained and had black dog hairs, our dog is tan. We felt incredibly grossed out and I couldn

Our stay was good. The price ($94) was better than staying in Newport at a Hotel. We went in November so it was raining and we didn't get to experience the views, or beaches close by.
The room seemed clean enough, it felt like an older room without a lot of upgrades. The beds were directly on the floor (on top of box springs). The shower had some stains in the tub from wear and tear. Heat was not turned on so it took some time to warm up (50's when we got in there).
Area felt safe enough (only 6 cars in parking lot).
The breakfast was muffins, bananas, cereal, coffee, juices, and

Booked a hotel online needing a last minute find and got a great deal at Alsi Resort. Check in went quick & clerk even said he'd give room with view. And what a gorgeous view and location right on the bay!!… Room was clean, beds were super compfy, and the windows opened to let in the fresh air and could hear the waves. Had coffee outside on the shore & read. There are picnic tables and fire pits setup by the shoreline as well. Swimming pool area was nice. I'd definitely go back. We skipped the free basic motel breakfast.

I am currently staying at the Alsi Resort and it's pretty great for the price and the view. Our room seems recently remodeled, with new carpet and simple furniture.
Just like many places along the Oregon coast, this place has been here for a while and has been in the ocean spray and wind. There are a few indicators of water damage in the halls and outside... BUT this place was clean, smelled clean, and had many parts recently remodeled.
The room had an AMAZING view of the bridge, the continental breakfast left something to be desired, but there were plenty of options for local spots to

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The location was good, very comfy beds, good WiFi, in-room coffee was good. Everything was clean and the fluffy carpet was nice on bare feet.
The heated pool is nice but I can't imagine it's ever warm enough / not-windy enough to swim in it comfortably (we went in and were freezing!). … The walls are PAPER-THIN. I actually got up at 2am to turn the (very loud) bathroom fan on so I didn't have to hear my neighbor's ongoing convo anymore. The free light "breakfast" was terrible. No fridge / microwave. TV was from the dark ages (but worked
