Due to a small landslide on Highway 101 in Oregon south of Yachats, my wife and I decided instead of pushing further on our road trip we were just stay in town. We found the Adobe resort by chance by looking at a satellite map of the area. I saw that it looked over a rocky area of the coast that had a beautiful view of the waves crashing in on the shore.
We had stayed at a resort up in Cannon Beach that we absolutely loved and this reminded us of the same type of setting. We even laughed and said that if there's a pizza place nearby that would be perfect as we had a pizza in Cannon watching

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments great bang for your buck. Myself brother sister in law and there 2 kids so roomy the two bedrooms each had 3 queen sized beds the rooms were large including common areas living and dinning ocean view in all rooms staff was very friendly and helpful such good people. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the kids the pool found the recreation area clean as well as the rooms. Christmas day the staff left some sugar cookies fruit and chocolates at our door our only regret was we couldn't stay longer

The accommodations with pets are in a run down building that is not attached to the main resort with filthy rooms. I didn't want to sit on the furniture. There was a filthy recliner that was disgusting. We were told it was ocean view. Only half a view. The windows were so dirty you couldn't see out. We asked to cancel and check out, went somewhere else. Very disappointed.

We love the Adobe! We have been staying here for over ten years. All in dog friendly rooms. It’s our favorite spot on the coast. The Adobe is the best bang for your buck. There is an awesome indoor pool, warmer kiddie pool, a hot tub, a sauna and a gym with free weights and great machines. The restaurant and bar is really great too. Delicious food, with a well lit rocky beachfront view. Perfect for romantic dinners or catching the game upstairs at the bar. The service is definitely worth mentioning too! They go out of their way to make sure you have the best trip. We accidentally left our floaty

Great location on the ocean, but most everything else was disappointing. We came to celebrate our anniversary and have a peaceful weekend with our dogs, but unfortunately the pet rooms are in much worse condition than anything featured online, and more importantly the room was situated directly in front of the main walking path that people and their dogs use to get to the beach. Which meant no privacy in our room at all, and our dogs were stressed and on edge the whole time having to watch other dogs on the path right at the edge of our balcony. We also were not able to see the ocean from our bed

I spent only one night there. I simply wanted a clean room in Yahats at a reasonable price. I chose the "parking lot" view vs the ocean side which costs a bit more. The room was neat, clean, quiet, and met my expectations. The Adobe is a bit dated but all the essentials in the room worked just fine (micro, frig, coffee maker). The TV would not turn on, so I called the front desk and a technician came within 5 minutes and fixed it. Great customer service.
The staff were friendly, and they have a great set of paths right outside the hotel for walking and viewing the beautiful Oregon beaches

The Adobe Resort is dated but it was fine for a one night stay while traveling along the coast. The room itself was clean and spacious. If you want breakfast, it's grab an go. You can choose from different cereals, yogurt, a bagel and more. If you want dinner, they have a restaurant and reservations are recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adobe! Our room was a mini-suite with a kitchen/dining area that had an unbeatable ocean view. We liked the ability to walk out the back and right on to the beach - and also enjoyed a bit of relaxing in the hot tub after dark. The hotel could be considered a bit dated overall - but they've kept it clean and provide solid service.

2nd time eating at this restaurant. The view of the ocean is fabulous. To bad the food isn't. The clam chowder is a no. Had the New York steak. Never had one so tough & dry. Had the crab cocktail which was a joke, the the price oh my gosh. Now on to last night with friends. $13.00 for a tiny piece of melba toast with salmon for an appetizer. We each got a small bite! Ordered the pork tenderloin. So dry it was hard to eat. Brought most of it home to our dog. If it wasn't that we had a gift certificate we wouldn't had gone back. All in all the place is run down &

If you stay here with a pet, you will definitely be a second-class citizen. The "pet wing" is old and dilapidated. There is an element of bait and switch here, as the pictures on the website are of the non-pet rooms, which appear to be much nicer. The rug in our room was mildewed and loaded with pet stains. The view was partially of the ocean, while the non-pet rooms have full ocean views. This is not mentioned on the website. And the coup de grace was when we found someone else's dirty clothes on the floor by the bed. Definitely will not be back.

First...the Adobe is not cheap. When pricing the place, they take the word "resort" very seriously. Once you arrive...not so much.
Yachats used to be my home away from home. I have watched it go through many changes. This latest version of Yachats ...especially the resort...is not so good.
First...the year is 2021. Gone are the days you can claim the internet hasn't reached you yet. I had zero internet in my room and had to climb the stairs in the bar to find coverage for a mandated meeting from my work.
Then...I mentioned that I had that meeting at 1130....late check

Our room was clean and had a wonderful view of the ocean from the window. (No balcony) The motel was a little dated and worn. There was a recliner in the room (nice addition) but, the arms were visibly warn and peeling. The toilet seat had a few spots where the paint had come off.
In the restaurant, the tables have cloth runners to dress up the tables. I believe they serve another purpose, to cover part of the worn wooden edges of the table. Still, the room was comfortable and clean. The beach is a short walk away. That part is spectacular.

Lovely location on the Oregon Coast, but disappointed in our room. The old leather chair arms were very well worn through, with a cover over the top which, no doubt, covered even more wear. Our fireplace didn't work. At our request, maid did change towels and make the bed, but did not leave clean glasses or cups nor did they clean the bathroom. Disappointing.
Restaurant staff was very nice, although the woman bartender was EXTREMELY RUDE to us. We won't be back.

A beautiful, SPACIOUS king room with ocean views and in room jacuzzi! Delightfully clean. The view was incessantly enchanting. The jacuzzi was so relaxing!
Improvements recommended: provide at least 2 small bottled waters in room. After paying nearly $300.00 for 1 night, a guest should be given purified water and not have to drink from the tap or trek down to the lobby to buy bottles for $1.50 each.
Clean the windows! When you pay $300.00 for 1 night an OCEAN VIEW room, windows should be see-through clean.
Lovely room, FABULOUS RESTAURANT. Will come again.

Saturday I was kicked out of the lobby. When I tried to explain that there are new Covid rules and showing my vaccine card I was still asked to leave. It was humiliating. My husband went back down to the office to talk with them and share the new rules. I still wasn't given an apology. NO APOLOGY! Just an excuse about the managers not telling them and it brushed under the rug. We have stayed at this resort once a month for a long time (choosing it over our family beach home). Now I'm questioning wether we should ever go back when treated so terribly. This needs to be addressed by management

We stayed as a family of four. The view from the room was unbeatable, and we enjoyed being able to reserve a 45 min pool swim! I went expecting to be able to do some work on the computer and there was absolutely no internet from our room, which I thought was pretty standard these days. The room was clean. Electric fireplace a nice touch. The woman at check in was very nice. I feel like they could do a lot more with the lobby area, straight outta 1960, but maybe that's part of the charm. It's a 2-3 star hotel with a 5 star view and zero internet.

What a lovely little oasis on the coast. This is not a "5 stars Regent Beverly Wiltshire" style hotel but it's got AMAZING views, CLEAN, and GREAT hospitality. It's older so be prepared to hear all the pipes in the building and people walking up and down the halls, but it's a great place to stay on the Oregon Coast. We were charmed and delighted by this space, and they have 5 STAR FOOD

We were going to stay here but talking to the front lady really turned me off that I decided to change our itinerary and stay somewhere else. Since we were traveling with small children, I asked about what preventative measures that they were taking during this pandemic. The person who I spoke with said, "you really shouldn't come if you're worried about catching something." Um... I didn't ask her for her uninvited commentary. I asked her what measures her hotel was taking on cleaning and social distancing. She was curt and later just said, "the hotel staff is

This stunning resort is a hidden gem on the Oregon Coast. The hotel is large and rustic with a beautiful location directly on the shoreline. Its very accessible and close to all the attractions in and around town. The staff is very helpful and pleasant and the rooms were breathtakingly gorgeous with lots of amenities. There are private trails that go all along the water with epic views. There is a large, beautiful spa area with a pool and sauna. Excellent for a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to stay there again!

This is by far my favorite hotel and restaurant! Both are amazing! The view is unbeatable if you stay in the ocean view rooms. Beautiful patio right outside your room which opens to the ocean. It's breathtaking. The restaurant is also amazing with a beautiful ocean view. Waitresses have always been so friendly every time we've gone. I would recommend this resort 100 times over and will always be visiting.
