Mike Foley has managed two Back Bay rental units for me for over ten years. When I lived in Boston I did it myself but after moving to the west coast, I found it untenable. BCM / Mike has done an outstanding job for me whether it's getting good tenants or dealing with specific building issues I.e. My condo association has been working with Michael and his team at Boston Condominium Management a bit more than a year.

We moved to Boston Condominium Management at the end of the summer 2021 and could not be happier. The staff (specifically Michael Foley owner and Liz Sellers condo manager) is fast, efficient, personable and we've ALREADY been saving a ton of money compared to prior condo management companies. All of their suggestions have been proactive and cost-effective, and every vendor they have found for us as we switched over has cost us dramatically less than the other vendors we were using and the quality has been the same or higher. Our Condominium Association had a negative experience with a previous property management company, so the trustees (of which I am one) did our due diligence, spending weeks reviewing dozens of companies before narrowing it down to three. Michael Foley probably is one of the worst management I have encountered. I have been using them for the last 6 years due to their cheap price. You get what you pay for. Suddenly I was told I owe money from 4-6 years ago I was never told or bill provided. Emailed them for 2 weeks with no reply. Called him, he said he does not know a thing about accounting blamed it on his accountant. He wouldn't not even let me finish asking about some of the charges and basically tell me to F-off.

I've been using Boston Condominium Management for about a year to provide a rental listing, screen tenants, and manage tenant requests for a single condo unit I own. The tenant placement process met expectations, but they've really excelled in meeting tenant requests over the past year. There have been way more issues with the unit than I was expecting (appliance replacements, heating issues, lead paint remediation) and without their knowledge, experience, and responsiveness, my rental experience would have been a disaster for myself and the tenants. Our building recently changed management and now BCM takes care of us. Our property manager, Matthew G., has been extremely responsive and helpful through every step of the transition and beyond. He gets back to emails sometimes within minutes but usually within an hour or two- this is so helpful when we have a concern or question. He has established warm, professional relationships with my roommates and myself and has made it really clear that he is here to support us with any needs that arise with paying rent and keeping the building clean and taken care of.
