Services
We offer Eye Exams, Contact Lens Exams, Medical Exams, Ortho-K, and Surgical Co-Management. Comprehensive Wellness Exams, or traditionally known as Eye Exams, entail a thorough evaluation of the outside of the eyes, inside of the eyes, and an prescription for contacts. An infant should be evaluated between 6 and 12 months, and yearly after that.
Being able to see well is among the things we take for granted. But your vision can be affected in many ways-excess sun exposure, poor nutrition, injuries or even hereditary conditions. You can trust Jennifer Nguyen, O.D., to give you and your family members comprehensive, thorough attention when it comes to your eye health.
Is there a non-surgical way to see better while eliminating the need for wearing glasses or contacts?. Orthokeratology, or commonly called Ortho-K, is a therapy that allows you to see clearly and comfortably without the need of wearing glasses, contacts, or having surgery. Ortho-K was FDA approved in 2002, but the concept can be traced back to Ancient China.
There are several ways to correct a patient's vision, including a highly popular method of Contact Lenses or Contacts. Contact lenses are medical devices that are fitted to the surface of the eye with the patient's prescription built into it, allowing clearer sharper vision. Many patients prefer this method for playing sports, better peripheral vision, better cosmetics.
These lenses are made from a firm breathable plastic. These lenses are great for patients who would like very crisp vision and are not able to wear soft contact lenses due to dryness or complex prescriptions. They are resistant to protein and oil deposits. They are very customizable for patients with high amounts of prescription, presbyopia, and dry eyes.
