At any given time of the year there may be property enhancements and/or maintenance projects in progress on the property. This is typically more common between mid-August to mid-December however, some items may need to be addressed at other times of the year and without advanced notice. These are usually scheduled by the Buildings & Grounds Committee as well as owners remodeling their condos.
We attempt to schedule these and post notice well ahead of time, but some may be last minute projects based on necessity and/or availability. Beach towels, bed linens, bath towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, vacuum or sweeper, cookware, blender, dishes and kitchen utensils. We are only a short, one block walk away from a small grocery store where you can purchase more of these items or a few minutes drive over the bridge to a large shopping plaza with a Publix shopping store.

To the resort ambassador who aggressively preys upon unsuspecting out of town young family beach visitors who errantly place their things on loungers when signage is lacking or missing entirely... BE A BETTER HUMAN!! Did lambasting a young mother make you feel powerful and righteous? Your terrible behavior has consequences, and lording fictitious authority in the manor which you did is entirely shameful and unnecessary. We were staying at Midnight Cove II for three days already and day four were told we are not allowed to sit on their beach chairs for some reason. The board member and general manager told me that I was “lucky enough to have a chair for three days” very rude people, will not rent from midnight cove II or midnight cove I again. There were 500 chairs available but for some reason we were not allowed to use them.

I have stayed twice now and have enjoyed it. However next time I will fly. Wanted to make a suggestion to management of renting out at reasonable cost, air fryer and instant pots to units to make cook there more enjoyable and quick. I know what's in each unit is responsibility of unit owner, but as unit owner, I would be afraid the items might walk off. So if management could put this as part of a rental that would be great.

Midnight Cove itself is wonderful. We stayed in 923. We were very disappointed in the beach supplies. We had 1 actual beach chair, the other chair was a regular folding chair that broke when my husband ( skinny) sat in it. The other 2 were kids chairs. No tent just a small 1 person flimsy umbrella that blew inside out first day, mild winds. Very disappointed, for the price it should come with necessary beach equipment. Most condos provide you with a key to the storage room where beach supplies are located for your use during your stay, however the owners of this condo do not provide you a key to

My family of 6 stayed at one of the condos. The condo itself had almost anything you could think of inside - kitchen utensils of all kinds, board games for a night in, and plenty of books to read in addition to all of the essentials. The condo was also clean and tidy.
The beach was a short walk away, with the most beautiful white-sand beach and nearly see-through ocean. It was private and not very crowded, which we loved. We had perfect weather all week and very much enjoyed our stay overall.
The drawbacks however, were that basic extras were not included. They provided us with a single trash

A very clean and well laid out rental. Everything you could need, including items you didn't consider or forgot. Just across the street from a private beach, several pools nearby. "IF" I had any negative notes it would be dull knives (a non-issue). We will definitely be returning for additional stays. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail in providing everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place to stay! We had one of the bigger rooms (it was three floors). Came with 4 rooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 bath, and 3 showers. Perfect distance to the beach. They even had some books to enjoy on the beach. Had a few towels and bedding and a lot of pots/pans and plates/cups/silverware, but unfortunately didn't have any small things like salt/pepper, oil etc. So if you do stay be sure to get stocked up If you plan on cooking in their kitchen.

This was our first stay and it was recommended by others. Initially everything seemed okay however it should mention in the details that this specific unit is 3 flights of stairs that are not lighted at night (husband fell). Having kids including and infant with tons of things was very exhausting trying to load it back and forth using the stairs. Never again staying on a higher floor unless it has an elevator. Another issue was trying to get a guest pass for my mom. I missed the email that had multiple links about the cdc guidelines for Covid 19. The very last link stated that they would not be

Midnight Cove is a beautiful place to stay on Siesta Key. Each unit has a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious living area and views of the gulf of the in intracoastal. Midnight Cove is one of the best vacation rentals on Siesta Key.
There are two outdoor pools and they have a private beach with white sand and sparkling blue water. Midnight Key has attendants that will help you with complimentary beach lounges and umbrellas. I enjoyed joining others on a morning walk and watching the sunset each evening.

If ever I wished that there was an incremental star option, it would be for this review as I would give them a solid 4.75, but that is not the case. As there are a few minor suggestions I have for improvement, I just can't give 5 stars.

I’ve been coming to this place now for several years and the management has gotten worse each year. When arriving today the beach pool was filthy with bugs and mulch.
When I called to address the problem with the office they said it wasn’t a big deal use the other pool across the street.
Not the customer service I’m used to seeing around here.
And with the new late check-in with no access to the beach or facilities while waiting for the rooms to be cleaned and serviced even though room was paid in full a year in advance is not typical with any resort, hotel, or private stay that I’ve

Well to be honest I've never been to this property. But I did have a reservation to do so. I had reserved it on short notice. But my son has epilepsy and was hospitalized for seizures. So therefore I had to cancel my stay. I reached out to midnight Cove in hopes they would understand my situation and I offered to pay any cancellation policy. I would've used my travel insurance but they never gave me any or offered any. Instead they kept my entire $650 deposit. With no flexibility or no heart to refund my money given what we were going through with my sick child. So then I disputed it

We have spent the last 19 years at Midnight Cove over the holidays and we have built memories, made friends, enjoyed the beautiful sand and beach, frequented the same restaurants, mingled with the locals, etc. Times are certainly changing, and not for the better. Over the years, the reservation policies have gotten tighter and tighter, and the customer service poorer and poorer. For the first 10 or so years families could reserve condos for whichever dates worked over as long as the stay was for a full week. I can't see us ever staying anywhere else. Gated complex with covered parking.
Last 2 years we stayed in a unit in the ground floor of China Berry. The unit is nicely updated and only a few yards from the pool.
The only condos I have seen down there that have someone working the beach seven days a week. He sets up your chairs, umbrellas, and you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, etc... for a very reasonable price.

I have been coming here for over 20 years now and I love it a little bit more each time. They have several apartments to rent depending on your taste, and budget. They have always been clean, from kitchen to bathroom. The location, cant be beat. The staff is friendly and very responsive. This is a family place with proximity to a cute town, supermarkets and a mall if the weather is bad. Its such an amazing family place and if I had lots of money, I'd buy my own condo at midnight cove!!

The condos are great but the staff is arrogant and basically called me a liar. I made reservations over the internet. I called the next day to pay my deposit and got the voice mail of a guy named Jimmie. I left a message and did not get a call back. I left another message this morning and responded to and email. I get a call from a Kelly saying that I did not call or leave a message. Then she says I can not just pay the deposit I have to pay half of the full amount which is for November of 2014. Then Jimmie calls and says he did get the message this morning but not the one a few days ago. Supposedly

What a Joke - we have a signed contract; credit card charge and 9 days before we leave the owner cancelled our reservation - according to KELLY - the owner wants to use the unit. Don't waste your time on UNIT 442. We have rented from this association for over 10 years. They could care less for you - go somewhere else. A tent on the beach will give you better service.
