I am here to support you in discovering (or re-discovering) your voice and how you can carry it with you in living your best life. I am a passionate psychologist who believes strongly in the foundational pillars of connection, authenticity, and language within psychotherapy.

Utilizing these powerful elements-of-change I have worked closely with a range of individuals who grapple with life's difficulties including but not limited to: trauma & traumatic experiences, identity development related to race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, religious/spiritual, etc., transitions of adolescence, transitions of early- and mid-adulthood, anxiety, depression, and sexuality.
Services
I believe there are three therapeutic pillars that drive a person's movement towards healing. First is connection. Time and time again, research has shown that the client-therapist relationship is the most powerful element for success. How will you know if we are making a good connection? My aim is for you to leave our sessions feeling seen and heard in the entirety of your humanness (good vibes, bad vibes, and everything in between).
Moving through the world as a young person has become increasingly difficult. Between Instagram, Snapchat, Youtube, and other social media platforms the challenges faced by youth today are different than they were during the pre-smartphone era. Often these formative years are accompanied by experiences of anxiety, depression, and confusion.
Ready to get started? The first step is to schedule an initial intake session. This session will last approximately 50 minutes. During our first few sessions we will discuss what brings you in, the historical experiences that brought you to this moment, and your hopes for therapy. Together we will collaborate come up with a therapy game-plan, which will typically involve meeting weekly for 50-minute sessions.
If you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment, please notify me 48 hours prior to your appointment time. If the appointment is cancelled less that 48 hours in advance, you will be responsible for the payment of the full session fee. If you have "out-of-network" benefits through your health care plan, your insurance company may reimburse you for out of pocket therapy costs.
Historically, therapy has been stigmatized as a practice that people engage in when something is "wrong" with them. I am here to confirm that there is nothing wrong with you at all. In fact, seeking out and engaging in therapy is one way to express a commitment to your health and well-being. If someone were experiencing physical discomfort, they would seek help from a physician to alleviate their pain and learn how to prevent future injury.
