My husband and I have lived at Metro on Granby for a few years now, and there are a few great things about this apartment complex:
1. Location, location, location! The apartments are smack-dab downtown on Granby St. We are a quick walk away from all the downtown sites (restaurants, the Norva, MacArthur mall, etc.).
2. The most bang for your buck where square footage is concerned. We live in the one-bedroom loft, and compared to other downtown apartment buildings, it is the best option for getting a decent amount of square footage without spending your life savings on rent.
With the pros,

Quality living space with a wide variety of amenities! Perfect spot in Downtown Norfolk. Even though we are in the heart of Downtown, I do not hear any noise from my apartment. My dog is very comfortable here as well! Plenty of spots near by for exercise and bathroom breaks. Everything we need (grocery store, shops, restaurants, entertainment,… etc.) is within a mile walk. Each person I have encountered in and near the building has been pleasant and friendly. A few residents even offered to help move things in for us on their way to their place! There is a genuine community feel, for sure
