Over priced for what you are getting apartment appliances are cheap and always breaking. Our water heater was always going out and when you put a request to have I fixed took forever. We had our water heater go out multiple time even during a winter storm and could not get in contact with anyone mind you my elderly grandmother lived there with us. The only good thing here is the good size pool but I gets over crowded in the summer with no where to sit unless you go in the morning. All I can say is glad we left this place

My apartment was ROBBED over Christmas weekend. They took approximately $6,200 worth of jewelry and other items. I filed a police report. The thieves also took my extra key fob so now I'm worried they're going to come back and steal my car. I am very disappointed with management and with Vida Luxury Apartments. I asked that my locks be changed yesterday when I reported the robbery to management and was told they'd be there in an hour yet no one showed up. I had to spend the night with a friend and in the meantime my apartment was unsecured giving the thieves another chance to rob

Update to my previous review - my apartment was ROBBED over Christmas weekend! I couldn’t even get management to change my locks so I had to spend the night with a friends house while my apartment was unsecured giving the thieves another chance to rob it again! Wow. Total lack of management!! I placed two emergency calls last night with no response from the management team. There are security gates but they are almost NEVER closed which gives the illusion of safety to prospective tenants. Whatever you do don’t rent here… you will regret it like I do. We have been here over 2 years, and I definitely do NOT recommend you moving here!! We have had nothing but issues since the day we moved in. Our washer and dryer were broken on the day we moved in, they offered for me to lug my laundry to an empty apartment and use the w/d there, I said cant you just put that w/d in my unit and fix this unit in the empty apartment. They said no, after 2 weeks of no w/d they did EXACTLY that! Then our air was out during the hottest part of the summer which took a couple weeks of people in and out diagnosing it incorrectly. RUN, Don't walk to another apartment complex. Zero help for any issues I have had and I just moved in two months ago. I had no hot water in my kitchen for over one week, dents all over my refrigerator (they won't replace), the laundry room is in the kitchen so it is REALLY loud. The carpet in the bedroom has no padding should've been replaced and is very warn.

Agreement signed mid-November, with a move in/lease start date of November 29. Punch list items from initial walkthrough still not completed (today is December 15). Today, told one of these items would not be addressed until January, and any that have been addressed, took multiple calls/stops by the office, to finally receive attention.
Twice found unit unlocked after maintenance team had been inside.
No offers of compensation for the inconvenience/gross lack of security protocols.

Super disappointed with this place and I have been here one month. I am paying nearly $2,000 a month for a one bedroom that for over a week didn't have hot water in the kitchen. I literally went in the office the day after I moved and submitted all the damage requests and got nothing until I went in again. Numerous damage to appliances and floors wasn't and will not be fixed. Really poor construction quality and when you wash your clothes the laundry is in the main living area and it is so loud you cannot work from home if needed (which I do). Do not move here, there are better places and more

My wife and I moved to Reno a year ago on a transfer with her job. We chose Vida Apartments in the beginning because it was very nice and closer to her work. We have been extremely happy here for the past year. We are moving back to OC for a very good opportunity for my wife. The office is the best we have ever dealt with. Jose and Deanna made our stay effortless. Wonderful people to work with and the maintenance crew have always been extremely helpful. We highly recommend Vida to anyone. Beautiful scenery, very nice and comfort apartments, playground for kids, dog park, dog spa, all wonderful amenities. the heater in the pool has never been on, we’ve asked about it , we were told it’s not working, they’re “working” to get it fixed. Maintenance requests haven’t been taken care of right away, usually about a week before we get any response. We enjoy living here, wished as a tenant paying a luxurious amount monthly, that we would be taken care of sooner than later.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here!!! Not only are the apartments luxury but the amenities are luxury too I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!! Jose and his staff definitely make you feel like your welcomed and is always there help out. If you need a place to live in the Reno area this is the spot to be!!! Love the staff at Vida. They are all very professional, and go out of their way to ensure their tenants are happy and feel appreciated. Jose is so easygoing to work with, and always willing to give a helping hand. Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. The grounds are very well kept we always felt super safe in our little resort town. Highly recommend, best apartment complex in Reno

Revised. While I can appreciate your rules and regulations I really don't understand why you couldn't have allowed me a little leeway.
Don't e concerned. The property is pretty nice, but Reno/Sparks is really booming. I've got tours lined up.
I'm kind of curious when I was asked if I had $300 in a savings account.

Amazing staff and apartment layout. I felt safe there and super easy to get onto the i80. I personally wanted to live further away from downtown just to feel like I was closer to nature and have a mini-community around where I lived. I enjoyed the views from the apartment, walkable distance to a gas station and a Starbucks, perfect for an early morning coffee walk or snack walk before work. The pool and gym are great amenities. Also super close to a grocery store and banks and restaurants, all without going near downtown Reno. Easy access to hikes like behind Mayberry Park and super quick drive

I wanted to live there temporarily. I reviewed the lease agreement and it stated that the tenants should expect NO SECURITY whatsoever from this dump. What a joke. I contacted a friend of mine who was living there and she said that the gates are opened during business hours for anyone come in and at night more often than not, the gate is broken and not closed. Consequently, there will not be enough parking since everyone and their uncles are using Vida as a free parking lot. There are so many cars that you can find cars parking illegally for days even at red curbs. Some cars have no license

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Stay away! This property may look nice but it is not! Poor management! Poorly built. Staff lies constantly. They let just about anyone in this place. So many issues I cannot go over them all. Don't be scammed by these people. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. If I could I'd give this place ZERO STARS!

Currently living here. It's... Okay. Yes yes it's sooo nice looking and everything is new new you won't even notice the bad when you first move in. Is it luxury nice? NOT AT ALL. The appliances are absolute sh*t, they break all the time. Even maintenance will agree with you, no matter the mood you find them in. That alone should be enough to pass. However - Before covid, the gym was 24/7 so that's nice. The pool and spa are a huge area, with lots of BBQs, very nice. However, be ready for all the random closings that you may or may not hear about. Amazon hub? Very nice. Watch

What a pleasant experience we have had at Vida. My Mom lives onsite and is currently moving out as she needs to live closer to us. She is mega upset as see loved living here. She had a great view of the mountain range and loved the interior design of her apartment. Going through some review I would say yes the property was working out some kinks but the office staff has improved tremendous since the new manger came in. Everyone is super helpful,the grounds are clean and green. Parking might need some work but over all good. If times were different I would say that my mom would of stayed their

Everything looks nice but is cheaply made. My washer and dryer broke. Next the water heater broke. Smoke detectors beep constantly because they're "out of sync." Also, you'll hear every conversation your neighbors are having.
Front gate doesn't work sometimes, leaving you locked out until someone leaves.
They DO NOT have recycling bins. But they've been telling us for a year, "we have some coming..."
We went 8 months before getting a parking spot, even though all the new buildings and apartments being built had their own.

This review is solely for the guy they hired to twirl their signage on Robb and Sharlands. He's the most professional looking sign guy I've ever seen and he seems enthusiastic about this job. He was out today in the snow still wearing his suit. That's a guy who respects and takes pride for his job. Way to go! Give that guy a raise!

From what I have seen inside a lot of poorly constructed kitchen or bathroom drawers; drawers and doors that are misaligned; foot stomping from above floor; uneven flooring which left gaps in between floor and baseboards. This place was constructed with rush and no attention to detail. There at the beginning: wiring were poorly done; new appliances contained dents, some not all; look at the top of the windows you can see light penetrating simply because the valance is upside down;

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other poor reviews. The only positive thing about this place is the location, and Casey and Andrew in the front are great. They try to help you as much as they can before they have to get their poor management involved.
I'm pretty upset as this is our 4th day without a washing machine, and NO AC in 100 degree weather. We pay $2100 to live in a sweat box and not be able to wash our clothes?? I get it things break.
