They will nickel and dime you on fees or if you make any mistakes. ie maybe it was just my neighbor but if you leave garbage to the side of your garbage for more than an hour (it took), they’ll charge you $25 per bag, etc. Neighbor left a rude note without knocking and simply being mature and knocking on the door saying any noise that was supposedly “too loud” would have been the smarter solution imo. Little things like that time to time. And kind of expensive for the area, but supposedly cause it is a new complex. Staff is very nice though, so no negative reviews there.

Has the potential to to be a great apartment complex but has some downfalls. Apartments are nice. Gym equipment has been broken for the past few months. Almost all of the cardio machines don’t work so there isn’t much you can do in there. Extremely frustrating since my husband and I would like to use the treadmills but we can’t even do that. Branches are always falling in the dog park due to dead trees. These are massive branches that are dangling and ready to fall at any moment. One branch has already fallen and broken the walkway to the entrance of the dog park. The one dangling is so large

Accessibility and communication with Staff is Stellar, They are quick to respond with answers from the first showing through move in day. My work order for repairing a few minor items was promptly taken care of within a few hours of submitting. I really could not have a better experience with the entire application process. They stayed touch with me and answered all my questions while I was awaiting approval of my application.

We’ve been living at proximity for 2 years and we love it! The staff has always been very nice and helpful! Leanna and Ashley always respond quickly to any inquiries we have had. David and Jeremy have been great with any maintenance requests we have needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in Charleston!

I can’t say enough great things about Proximity! The team (shoutout to David and Leanna) have welcomed me since day one and have been so sweet. Also, they always keep the property looking great and are there for all things maintenance whenever needed. It’s been 2 years and I can truly say this is my favorite place I’ve lived.

I moved into Proximity just a few months ago and absolutely love it here! It is in the perfect location and the apartments are awesome. Management and maintenance are always super helpful. And if you have a dog, this is the place to be. The dog park is by far the best one I have seen around here.

Proximity is great! All the staff is extremely friendly and want nothing but the best for me and my family. Numerous times they have helped with whatever situation I may have had. The grounds and amenities are flawless, and honestly I wouldn't want to live in any other apartment! The only reason I would move is to own a house because they are just that amazing!

I arrived at the door where the two ladies inside very well seen me standing and the door was locked but it said that the office was open till 6 PM. After standing outside for a few minutes and knocking and trying to call they finally decided to give me the attention and get up to open the door. When the woman open the door I did not feel welcomed at all as I came to look at apartments and she just rudely expressed how they don’t show apartments after 5 PM. They could’ve handled this much better and made me feel more welcomed as I would come back to look at the apartments at a better time but

In the beginning this was an amazing place. We all loved it. With the new management, it’s been nothing but horrible. They didn’t offer any incentives for us to stay there but gave new comers a whole bunch of perks. We are all active duty military and the The old management used to work with all of us and were very helpful. This new management has been the exact opposite. I’m glad to be moving out in a few weeks.

I have loved living in this complex. The pool is amazing and the gym is very nice. Everything is very modern and it is pretty affordable. Perfect for a recent graduate. If I could give a 4.8 I would but I’ll round up to 5 only because within the year that I have lived here, I have only had about 2-3 issues. The water heater and the dish washer… leaked a couple times but maintenance was pretty prompt to fix it and it did not do any damage to the apartment. I give maintenance a 5/5 as well! They were able to fix anything we put a request in for. The yoga room in the gym had a few glitches
