Quality of life! My name is John Haug. My family has lived in Fort Collins for over 20 years. We are so grateful to be a part of a community where we make the most of our amazing cultural and natural resources. Whether we are mountain biking or hiking the local trails, enjoying live music, or just hanging out with friends downtown, there is undoubtedly no other place that my family would rather call home.
Our home inspection is a non-invasive, visual inspection of all the primary systems of the home including the roof/drainage, electrical, attic/ventilation, exterior, plumbing, heating/cooling, foundation and structure. We abide by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) standards of practice and code of ethics.
A great home inspection is all about communication. At Spring Canyon we pride ourselves in being accessible to you before, during and after the inspection. Our primary goal is that you fully understand what the inspection includes (and may not include), and most importantly any potential safety issues, defects or maintenance items that are discovered.
Radon is a health hazard with a simple solution. Test. Fix. Save Lives. What is Radon? Radon is a clear, odorless, naturally occurring gas. It is a radioactive byproduct of radium. The risks from Radon are cumulative, so exposure to higher levels of Radon over a long period of time can cause harm. Where does Radon come from?
Bundling a Sewer Scope Inspection with your Home Inspection is perhaps the best money you can spend. Your home is the largest investment you will ever make. Part of that investment is underground and hidden from view. Many first time home buyers are not aware that homeowners are responsible for the sewer line (or lateral) that runs from the house to the city or HOA main line.

John inspected our 30 year-old home prior to purchase and my wife and I were extremely pleased. His communication was outstanding. Scheduling was easy and he was prompt to follow-up with any questions we had. He was meticulous and it showed in his report - easily one of the most user-friendly and comprehensive we've seen. We enjoyed having a digitized copy as in additional to numerous photos of his findings, there was also video walkthrough with audio in some instances. We opted for inspection with radon and sewer scope and found the cost to be competitive. Most notable was his follow through.

From scheduling to getting my home inspection report Jon with Spring Canyon Home Inspection was wonderful to work with. He provided a comprehensive home inspection, radon test and mainline sewer inspection.
