Dr. Siddra Iqbal has practiced general dentistry for over ten years. Passionate about dentistry and providing patients with compassionate dental treatment, Dr. Iqbal has helped her patients feel comfortable and valued under her care. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Association, as well as a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

The receptionist and tech were great, but the dentist wanted to do a procedure I was uncomfortable with. They would not clean my teeth without performing periodontal probing which I find extremely uncomfortable. The dentist argued with me about it. I simply asked not to do it. Really sad considering they had just told me how they would be sensitive to my anxiety and would stop if I felt pain. Lots of caring words they then did not back up with action. I left without a teeth cleaning because they would not proceed without the probing. Very unfortunate experience. I’ll be seeking care elsewhere

Modern Smiles is extremely professional and has the most current and up to date equipment/technology available. The office is entirely paperless and every part of your treatment takes into consideration the patient's experience. For example, the office has massage chairs, Bose wireless headphones, and other patient accommodations. Additionally both dentists are extremely educated, skilled, professional and genuinely kind. I highly recommend this office for all of your dental needs.

If you’ve had a bad experience with a dentist before make this your new dentist’s office. My last filling experience was HORRIBLE, I have sensitive teeth and my back teeth would not numb so now I’m all nerves at the dentist. But my appointment went beyond my expectation. She was attentive and patient. She’s not dismissive of anything. If you mention something she’s listening. She checked in every step of the process (checking in to see if its too much air? Too much water? Anything?) and went above to make sure I wasn’t in any pain with minimal discomfort. I love it here!

Dr. Sidra Iqbal and her entire team are fantastic! Very detailed, very kind, and my appointments were right on time. I did cleaning, bleaching and a new crown for my front teeth. I've been going to Dr. Rita Shah for 13 years, and I will NEVER go to another dentist! She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, professional, kind, honest, and funny. She has the most gentle hands when she's doing any type of dental work. You don't have to worry about getting surprise/bogus bills at Modern Smiles because they let you know what your estimated bill will be prior to getting treatment. I've had bad experiences in the past with some dental offices that either overcharge, cheat you out of money, and/or incorrectly bill you....this is something that is NOT done at this dental office. I was looking for a great dentist to go to in my neighborhood, so I looked up reviews and boy was I glad I chose Modern Smiles. That office is so nice and clean, the equipment is state of the art and the staff was AMAZING! Every single person I interacted with put me at ease and was so friendly. First of, per most people I assume …. I never enjoyed going to the dentist, after years of work that I was not happy with I decided to find a new place to have my teeth cleaned and worked on. (Two years since my last appt)
My first appt was in July, went in and was already impressed by how nice the space was. They had me fill out all the forms before I came in through a text message link that easily brought me to a secure site to fill everything out (which makes everything easier and faster when you get to the office!)

Highly highly recommended. my doctor is Siddra , she is amazing , I’ve been her client for three years, no pain at all during or after . She knows exactly what she’s doing in well manners and great timeframe. Very helpful and responds to emergencies with kind heart and a big smile , you can see it behind the mask, it’s that big! Couldn’t recommend this place more! Called for an emergency dental appt and they got me in the same day within 2 hours. Unfortunately I had a tooth infection but was given a prescription for antibiotics and pain meds. Made an appt for the following weekend for 2 wisdom teeth extraction. The entire staff made me feel nothing but comfortable. I was so nervous but they were great at easing my nerves. Was even provided with headphones so I didn’t have to hear anything during the procedure! The actual extraction was super quick and the pain has been minimum. I definitely plan to return for all my

I just recently became a patient at modern smiles, I was seeing Dr. Iqbal at her previous office for Invisalign and chose to continue my treatment with her at her new permanent location. The office is very clean, bright, and has a modern feel, the name is very fitting. The front desk was very friendly and texted me before my appointment to get my appointments confirmed and get my new patient information filled out prior to my visit so check in is very easy and you don't have to worry about showing up early to fill out paperwork. Dr. Iqbal is super professional and has a very pleasant demeanor

First, I gotta applaud my lovely dentists: Dr. Siddra Iqbal and Karla. I have had very traumatic experiences in the past with dentists but I gotta say these ladies are a breath of fresh air. They are the kindest, sweetest and very intelligent.
It was Memorial Day and my tooth ache went from a 4 to a 10 in pain in days and the pain was driving me nuts. I spent the whole night calling these 24/7 dentists and it was a complete waste of time. Apparently there's no emergency dentists in Chicago. The next day I called modern smiles and it was like

Modern Smiles is a great dentist office! I have not had a primary dentist office in a few years so I knew I wanted to check out Modern Smiles when they first started building the office.
I expected Modern Smiles to be a little more upscale because of its location and its exterior so I wasn't surprised how nice it looks inside. The inside of the office is decorated very modern and the staff makes sure the office is clean. Since we are in a pandemic I didn't get to see much of the back offices but I got to see the front half that I was placed. My favorite aspect of the dental office is

I'm new to the area and I wanted to find a local dentist. This team is amazing! Setting an appointment is easily done through the portal on there site. Before arriving to my appointment, surveys are sent out, to ensure Covid-19 safety protocols are being followed. The place is spotless and disinfect is readily available. Outside of the facilities, the staff is awesome. Abby, at the front desk , and Carla, the dental assistant, are nice and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I would 100 % recommend making an appointment here.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit scared going in. It was my first time going to any kind of visit after COVID madness and I was a bit anxious. However, I was put at ease right away. The staff is so professional, and it is clear they go to great lengths to ensure the safety of their patients and their staff. Specially during this crazy times. Everyone was extremely friendly and thorough...you get the feeling they are a real team, work so well together to the benefit of their patients. I felt so relaxed being there! I originally booked my appointment at Modern Smiles due to proximity -- I live in the neighborhood. The online booking process was very easy, and they followed up via email and text to conveniently get my intake and insurance information. I even made a mistake with my insurance, and they were super patient and understanding when fixing it. I applaud their kindness here, because I totally would've understood if they were more annoyed.

Modern Smiles is amazing. It's a beautiful and clean office. The dental chairs even give a gentle massage!!
The staff, from the front desk, assistant, and dentist were all amazing. My treatment plan was thoroughly explained and all my questions answered.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Iqbal and the modern smiles team. She's amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend her OVER ANY other dentist in Chicago, hands down!! I was a patient of Dr. Iqbal at another practice in the loop and when she moved here, I had to follow.
