Services
BOTOX Cosmetic may cause serious side effects that can be life threatening. Problems swallowing, speaking, or breathing, due to weakening of associated muscles, can be severe and result in loss of life. You are at the highest risk if these problems are pre-existing before injection. Swallowing problems may last for several months.
Our office specializes in a wide range of spinal and muskuloskeletal conditions, including sports injuries. We provide various diagnostic and therapeutic options. After consultation, Dr. Chen may recommend radiographic work up, such as X-ray or MRI. Electrodiagnostic study (EMG/NCS) is also often ordered to determine the status of your pinched nerve or muscle.
Injections are an invasive technique that can diagnose the cause of pain, and can treat the pain itself. The great thing about injections for back pain is that they deliver medicine directly to the site of the pain. The amount of pain relief from injections vary from temporary to long lasting.

Although there are many types of medications used for injections, injections themselves are broadly categorized according to what type of tissue, body system, or location receives the shot.An ESI is a common type of injection that is given to provide relief from certain types of low back and neck pain.
LTO is a hand-held, portable pain relief device combining two proven therapies - low level (cold) laser and electrical stimulation. Low level laser light penetrates the body's tissue(s) where it is absorbed by cells and thereforth stimulates natural repair and healing processes to occur at the cellular level.
An EMG/NCS are electrodiagnostic studies often used for patients who have back pain, neck pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, or muscle cramping in the hands, arms, legs, or feet. The purpose of the studies are to localize where your symptoms i.e. An EMG studies diseases of the nerves and muscles. The test helps that doctor determine if the muscles and nerves are functioning properly.

You did not find the cause of my illness!
My back hurts but you did not find the cause of my illness, you did Xray and a series of other tests. Still can't find the cause of my illness. Let me tell you that my backache is due to some compression in my spine.
Maybe the doctor, you didn’t study well, and you don’t know that one of the reasons for back pain may be spine problems, not just muscle strain.
Thank you for making my condition last longer and not getting proper treatment.
YOU DID XRAY BUT YOU STILL DIDNOT FIND MY SPINE PROBLEM, THAT IS HILARIOUS!

I went to Dr. Chen for PRP treatment following two L5/S1 surgeries in two years. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. My first consultation with Dr. Chen was extremely thorough and after discussing my situation he recommended PRP. He took his time explaining the procedure and answered all of my questions. He takes a very practical and wholistic approach towards health and recovery which really appeals to me. The procedure was easy and painless. I'm looking forward to recovering after the PRP and I highly recommend visiting Dr. Chen to address any health and wellness issues you may have.

I have been a patient for a short time, and have found that Dr. Chen seems to be caring and his staff as well. He has given me two injections and a couple of follow up visits. I have SEVERE spinal problems and he had me have two new MRI's done before my last round of injections, witch was fine. I canceled my last visit over the phone and left a message saying that I can't make the appointment, and to please call me back to reschedule. Instead of a call from his office, I got a bill in the mail for a phantom $ 113.65 for a visit on 9/24/19? So I called their billing department a got the run around

Dr Chen is a miracle worker! I have had low back pain since my two pregnancies (2013 and 2017). Having this pain limited me to many activities including constantly carrying my kids. I was referred to Dr Chen by my PCP. Dr Chen laid out the treatment options very clear for me and did not push me towards any treatments. After ordering the MRI, Dr Chen informed me of my two bulging discs! I was so scared to hear that but he and his staff made me feel very comfortable! I tried out some sessions of acupuncture which made me feel physically and emotionally better! In addition I had PRP last week which

Dr Chen is the best pain management doctor I have ever had. I have had chronic pain for 15 yrs, and have been seeing Dr Chen for the past 3 yrs. He has a great bedside manner, which many doctors who practice today are lacking. The staff is very friendly and have a great working knowledge in their field.
I have had the most amazing treatment, and will be seeing Dr Chen for the infinite future!!!
