This is a tough review to write as I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews at all. However, I feel this review may help others as they research MR apartments.
The word "luxury," should be stricken from their title immediately. The facts of the matter is I went through an application here while looking to relocate for work. I expressed this apartment was of my highest interest, ready to move immediately and under a tight deadline to decide; seemingly every apartment complex dream, right? In addition, I have exceptional credit, great income and multiple references.

It's interesting how many of the complex managers in the area justify their outrageous rent by stating that it is comparable to surrounding rentals. Just because it is comparable does not make it right. You do not need to charge as much as you do but because everyone else does you justify your ridiculous rent prices. Ventura county needs to fix this problem. It is not right that working a fulltime job does not cover a fraction of the cost of living here.

Why is the gym always locked 24/7? I have been trying to use that gym for almost 8 months now and it’s LOCKED every time I go there. Why is it even locked? Do you think people will steal the equipment that weights over 400 pounds magically? It’s literally impossible to steal any equipment unless it gets unassembled’ or thrown through the window... If you guys are scared of kids jumping down into the bottom floor maybe you should of thought of that possibility when constructing the layout of the office. I’m trying to workout, not become obese like 70% of America, unlock your doors...

Take move-in pictures of everything and again when you move out! I’d had to fight bed bugs after months of living there, ants and flees galore, our bikes were stolen even tho they are cable locked and they let a dangerous pit bull move in that attacked my dog and I. We settled with the renters insurance as the building took no responsibilities. Upon move out they withheld our deposit plus other monies and I had to go to small claims to get our money back. Fight for your rights and get tons of pictures.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! This place has terrible management, you cannot park anywhere because every apartment has way too many people and cars, no community rules ever enforced, strangers using the laundry rooms, the security (?) at night is laughable, the pool is always full of a million people who do not live on the premises, etc., etc.
