Ralston location was a hot spot for transient action. Constantly had to be aware of surrounding as they walked by and checked porches and walkways for packages and other items. Nice grass across the street but unfortunately had someone sleeping on it often. Move out was terribly coordinated and so called security to help with homeless was a complete waste of time. Would not at all recommend that area due to the homeless.

We have lived here now for almost a year and a half. I enjoy it here. The neighbors are all very nice. People are able to play in the pool during the day and I enjoy the little gym provided. The big open kitchen is a dream. At night it is very quite which is very important to me. Yes the hard water is annoying and yes the rent is a little pricey but it's what you expect to live in Ventura. I have never experienced any issues with safety here and have not heard of any car vandalism like we used to get in my last complex in Oxnard.

I feel persecuted by Ralston courtyards and they're picking on a person with a brain tumor.
The manager, Angela, is rude and unreasonable. They have hard water which leaves you with itchy dry rashes on your skin after the shower. The dishwasher leaves stains on your dishes.
When I brought this up to Angela, she said we need to buy a soft water filter.
WHY DIDN'T THE OWNERS OF THE APARTMENT SUPPLY A SOFT WATER FILTER IN ORDER TO HAVE THE APPLIANCES AND COMFORT THEY ADVERTISE ACTUALLY FUNCTION?

Unfortunately this place was built on a giant ant hill. We've sprayed, bombed, bugged, and had professionals come out. NOTHING WORKS!
1) DO NOT rent here, they are overpriced and the dishwasher they advertise as an amenity doesn't work and leaves hard water stains. I was told that I could buy a soft water filter. Thank you so much, why don't I renovate the place for you too.
2) The gym is a closet and the building is non smoking so instead everyone smokes in front of your apartment which always comes inside.

Pros:
Close to the freeway and plenty of shops nearby. Nice washer dryer.
Cons:
I wouldnt call this a luxury apartment. The countertops are a plastic stone pattern. Cabinets, kitchen appliances and flooring are very basic. They’ll raise the rent by at least $100 each year you renew.
Big issues were as follows:
Ants. No matter how much they spray, they come back.
Hard water. Not even a Brita would cut it. And this comes from someone who would drink from the tap in SD. Combine this with an old dishwasher, alot of our plates and silverware got stained.
Management. Odd emails being sent out

I have absolutely loved living here! The units are new and clean which is rare in Ventura! I've never had a problem with management or maintence. They've always been accommodating and helpful. I love how quiet it is here. I had problems with loud neighbors at my last place so I appreciate the peace and quiet here :) Highly recommend.

This place is quit possibly the worst place i have ever lived. I leased here for a year and had my car broke into twice. There is ZERO security presence. I thought this was Ventura!!! When I mentioned this to management she just shrugged her shoulders and told me I was not the only one, it happens frequently. I moved out four months ago and gave up on ever getting my deposit back. No matter how clean you leave the place, you will NOT see one dollar of your deposit.
