Joanna, Pedro and photographer e. Owens got together to put an a very festive photo shoot w/ "the grinch"! Bringing back the holiday spirit w/ Christmas treats and complimentary emailing custom photos. Thanks guys! This new management has turned this apartment complex around 180° in a better way. I've been here for six years and I've seen it happen. Not to mention Jacob again for his diligence in keeping up the good work w/ professional maintenance.

Cannot recommend this place. They do not care about keeping their word. If you agree on something with management MAKE SURE you get it in writing. That was my own mistake for not making sure they kept to their word with writing.
The biggest issue was when moving out. Since when we first moved in the place was an absolute mess we spoke to the manager about it and he had said that they wouldn't charge us for any cleaning on move out. We left the place better than we found it for sure but we were still charged around 2k for cleaning and a balance we had already paid for the month of move out

Our Son and group of college teammates recently moved in. Nicole was extremely helpful and professional in helping us through the process. Wow thus place should have a wayyyy better rating!!! Its been my home for a year, and due to personal reasons I have had to switch units. Now, at another place I would worry about approaching the leasing office. Not here. Nicole is the best to deal with- she knows everything about the place, shes super cool, and shes so accomodating. You can tell she wants your living experience to be the best it can. Nicole 5/5!!!!

I have lived here for two years, and Capes at Ventura WAS a great complex, before the new company took over, brought in all new personnel to work in the office, and tried to update multiple anemities at the same time. The bill pay website is broken (tried to take over $2,000 out of my bank account) and the office personnel do not return calls (still waiting after a week).
The only saving grace are the maintenance guys who are on top of fixing/ asissting in getting repairs right away, and are great to work with.

My family and I moved in just a week ago to this place with the help of Nicole, one of the staff here at capes at Ventura. Nicole was very helpful not only that but very professional in her job. She made us feel welcome to this place. If anybody out there thinking of renting this place please look for Nicole she is very friendly. She will welcome you with her smile and friendly positive attitude. She loves what she is doing.

I recently had a difficult situation with roommates at the capes at Ventura both coming in and leaving. Nichole Latimer in the office was an absolute saving grace in this process! She was incredibly kind and professional. She definitely understands that her work is important and deals with peoples homes. If I were staying in this area I would 100% choose to stay at Capes at Ventura simply because I trust Nichole and the property is beautiful (apartments and landscaping). Also enjoy the heated pool!

Nothing but good things to say during my time here, Miles, my leasing agent has been very helpful throughout my process of moving in and has made everything a breeze. Maintenance came fast & resolved issues quickly! The complex overall is nice and the apartment itself is updated with relatively new appliances!

We have lived at Capes at Ventura for 4 years and have nothing but raves about it...especially about maintainence...and ESPECIALLY about Pedro. From Day 1, he has been there to help us with the immediate issues and has found solutions for those considered a bit major. All of this has been done with humor, caring, and expertise. I've lived at the capes going on for two years. The customer service at their office was ok. I've had my share of mishaps with them. Just today I called about my blinds that were not working and my washer and dryer. Miles who works in the office was so KIND when I called regarding my issues he took down what I needed and treated me in such a polite manner. Ask for him when calling regarding anything at their office.

I have been pleased with Capes at Ventura. It is clean, the gardeners keep up with the yard maintenance and the staff here is very helpful. Whenever we have an issue with plumbing or the appliances, the maintenance staff responds quickly and they fix the issue. If something breaks, the staff will replace the item if it cannot be repaired. Everyone is friendly and careful during the pandemic. I highly recommend Capes at Ventura. EG

I've lived here for 5 years and never late on rent w/ no complaints. Adam left and management and office staff took a dive for the worst. I was going to complain to corporate. But Jacob, the new maintenance supervisor saved my new year. He fixed my toilet and shower on the spot in my 1 bed. I had made two visits to office and let them know about my toilet. They never helped. Thanx Jacob

Be aware that they will try and take negative reviews down. In short, this place is expensive, extremely loud and full of fleas. Maintenance will leave you without a working sink for weeks. Don't believe the new 5 star reviews, they sound nothing like this complex and we still live here. Feel free to message me if you would like more information because my full review was taken down.

Nothing but issue after issue since management changed. Been given wrong amounts due for monthly rent & billed later for additional charges 'missed on previous bill'. Pipes under the kitchen sink broke & I was told to do dishes in the bathroom until they can have someone take a look at it- A WEEK LATER. High employee turnover rate- every time you call, there's someone new & the last person you spoke to is no longer there. You would think that the very high rent would mean a highly professional and efficient staff but unfortunately, it does not.

Absolutely the worst apartment complex to live in. From outrageous rent prices, to trying to charge us $300 after moving out. Throughout the whole entire time living there after sending in numerous maintenance requests they would never come to fix anything. We moved in and didn't even have a working garbage disposal or washer and dryer until almost a week after moving in. Then in the master bath our vent fan, never worked and they never came to fix it. One of the smoke alarms batteries were low and they never came to replace it, eventually I did it myself but even then it kept beeping. The

It is definitely not the greatest place to live especially for the cost of the rent. The walls are SO thin that I could hear my neighbors alarm in the morning, I was pregnant while living there and we decided to move before the end of our lease because I didnt want to worry about the neighbors waking him up.
