The owners of this company got approved by the Pay check protection program On April 2020 $150.000-$350.000 . The owners of pike international have been changing the LLC names on the building rental property and houses. They have a large turn around at the office .all employees are independent contractors and are disposable they don’t get medical insurance or sick leave .vendors and contractors calling for payment after work have been done on there rental property and not getting paid by the owners of this company Tenants that have moved out and fulfilled there end of there lease waiting months

Deceptive and predatory business practices are their standard MO. Maintenance will go out of their way to cut corners even if it makes the job harder. The staff will knowingly lie to your face and make promises and then pretend like they never said them.
The main staffer explicitly told his employees not to mention his name or provide customers with email or phone number; I regularly had to just go to the office in person and cause a scene because they were so adverse to providing even minimal service.

I have been living at a Pike property for almost 2 years and the first year was bearable but this last year with the new manager Brancroft Soto a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We no longer have a maintenance man and believe me when I say with the people that live in and around this building we need one every day. People do not take responsibility for their own messes but that is not on the people that would like a clean atmosphere to live in that's on the management to provide that environment.

Before dealing with them you need to get everything you want in the lease. TAKE YOUR TIME viewing the apartment inspecting everything and if there is something broken PUT YOU WANT IT FIXED IN THE LEASE. Then If they dont fix it by that date you dont pay them or whatever. Get everything in writing before signing the lease.

Be careful before paying any deposit or signing lease check all items broken or not working and list it in lease otherwise they will never fix it I.e ur heating system etc. Or u will have to use ur own electric or some heating system all winter. At the end of contract they will claim that u broke it and if you claim that item was not working before u moved in they will file a legal case against you. U will end up losing credit score and face lots of legal problems. I live in 76 Sherman ave Apt 2.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. I want to preface this review by saying that I have moved around quite a bit in my life and have dealt with numerous leasing agencies. Pike is by far and large the WORST slumlord agency I have ever experienced. Everyone in charge is painfully incompetent at BEST and actively villainous at worst. Do your research before even SPEAKING to Pike - because once you read a bit online I promise you you'll run. Article after Article of neglectful behavior, dead bodies found, broken windows never fixed, no returned security deposits.

Unfortunately, in New Haven u get what u pay for. When we moved in, our complex was well managed, quiet and lovely.Today we are 1 step away from a Section 8 housing project. Our maintenance man has always been wonderful he is not the issue. The issue is there is no tenant screening. We are under siege from drug carriers and sales and service. Working with Pike and Daniel was an absolute pleasure and he did an awesome job at finding me and my roommate an apartment in a quick and timely manner, and even had the apartment spruced up before we moved in. If you ever have any questions after moving in, the lady at the front desk Marlene almost always has an answer and if not will find someone that does.

A great rental company to work with as a young adult and college student! would recommend!

I filed a complaint with BBB, and management and the realtor lied in their response. RUN! don't walk, away from this company. I came to know about Pike International, LLC from a friend and went there to see some of the available listings. Daniel and Adela helped me find the perfect place and also helped me get set up comfortably. The office is very responsive and helpful with the servicing and other needs. I haven’t faced any problems as of today, and so would highly recommend this housing management. Thank you Daniel and Adela for a quality service!

We had a great experience with Pike in terms of getting an apartment. Daniel Zennou is very understanding and will cater to your needs. We got an apartment which didn't really work out for us and he helped us getting another one which was much better for us and it all worked out. He is also very adamant on getting you the best deal which works for you and the company. I plan on staying with them throughout my doctorate. Hope this helps.

I moved into the apartments they have across from St Raphaels 6 months ago. I knew about Pike’s “reputation” but at the time I felt that if you want this good a deal on rent, downtown, there WILL be trade offs. However, Pike has consistently very pleasantly surprised me.
Their rental office has really lovely staffing who are all very helpful and expedient. The maintenance staff CAN take a really long time on non-emergencies but the emergencies are all taken care of at latest within a few hours, usually sooner. I was denied an apartment with perfect credit and excellent income because of a misdemeanor charge from 8 years ago. Daniel was extremely helpful when I came in to look for an apartment and I was ready to sign the lease and put down a security deposit the same day. When he had to clear it with the "manager", there was yelling and other obscenities coming from the other side of the door and the manager refused to give me a chance. Danny, our maintenance guy is the best! Very receptive and goes the extra mile to when it comes to taking care of some maintenance requests. I absolutely love the property where I am staying. Management could be a bit faster when it comes to maintenance requests but overall a good experience. I would love to continue staying here but need to move because of job.

I have had nothing but the best experience while working with the Pike International Leasing Staff. They assisted me during my cross-country relocation to the New Haven area, and assured me that all of my concerns were met, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home in my new home.
I would highly recommend the leasing staff, along with the historic apartments they manage, to any of my peers. Anyone can live in a high rise, but not everyone can live in a piece of history!

On 5/27/19, I contacted the Pike International company regarding a unit I had viewed on the net and talked to Daniel Zennou. I just asked questions about the apartment I saw on Zillow. He asked me my credit card number just in case to charge the application fee in case I proceed with filing the application. Shokingly, he charged me 1230.85$ for the application fee and one month deposit right after he took the card's number. I was just asking questions about the unit. That's it. GENERALLY RUN BY LEVI STONE...He will tell you that you need to pay additional month's security..that you have eviction on your credit report..He may come up with any sort of b.s. so beware!!!!! Problem with this is he pulls this at the 11th hour when you may have already left your prior residence or are about to!!!! You will have hired movers, packed up all your stuff, are almost on the way and BAM, he pulls this stunt!!! He did it to me and he did it to my neighbor!!!! Who Knows how many more!!!! BEWARE - This is the most unresponsive and frustrating company I've ever dealt with. The refuse to send my security back and I never lived in the apartment. I paid my August rent and when I went to get the belongings I moved in and someone else was living in the apartment. I'm missing some of my belonging also. My father and I have tried over 35 time to contact them and they NEVER return a call. I would avoid renting from them at all costs. This company is only interested in your money and does not care about customer satisfaction.

The absolute worst. My Girlfriend and I had the unfortunate experience of being tenants for 2 years with Pike. Our showers ran out of hot water regularly over the Fall, Winter, and Spring, the heat controls on our radiators did not work and the radiators made loud banging noises, the shared hallways in the building were filthy and poorly lit, old stoves and refrigerators were left in shared hallways for months by the "maintenence" people, the drains were constantly backed up, the floor boards creaked every single time you stepped on them, spiders would come from the cieling by the dozens

Beware of these folks. They never paid back my deposit and stopped responding altogether, forcing me to waste my time suing them.

Totally unreliable and disorganized. Huge turnover of staff and simply no one working there that is competent or cares.

For example, in addition to their administrative chaos, it took them forever to come and fix the malfunctioning heating installation in the midst of freezing winter. And so on...

Worst property agency ever! Don't ever rent from this place! They took a week to complete all the paper work for a one bedroom apartment, gave us all the wrong keys, can't get into the apartment. Our apartment doesn't even have a cooking vent.

This company is absolutely terrible and a complete slum lord. Fortunately, you don't have to put up with them. You have rights as a tenant.
