I've lived in the Stonehill building for almost 9 years. I highly recommend Ninth Square. The location and garage parking are great. The maintenance staff are really quick to assist with any issues and are all awesome. The in-unit washer and dryer is great. I would only recommend that any potential tenant make sure their unit has not had any water leaks or a previous smoker. I live in a unit that was previously rented by a very heavy smoker. The walls weren't treated properly so I still have nicotine seeping through my bathroom wall paint. It's an older building so there are some plumbing issues

I am absolutely in love with my space! Peter was extremely helpful, insightful and accommodating ! Everything in the apartment is updated and modern. Maintenance is on top of everything. The location took couldn't be better , the view from my apartment is great . I feel safe and secure knowing only key card access allows anyone in . There's also a gym and carriage house that I cannot wait to utilize, thank you for making this transition perfect !

I love living here. The new management is doing great work in terms of renovating, beautifying the space, and providing events for residents to attend. Also the maintenance crew deserves a special shout-out for how hard they work keeping this area spotless.
I have the best neighbors. This is a friendly and super diverse community.
I also just love being walking distance from a grocery store, sooo many restaurants, plant/flower shops, pharmacies, and parks. The only issue I have, is that I wish there were better storage options for bicycles.

I am a former resident and I loved living @ Ninth Square Apartments. It’s a great location. Their management is extremely friendly and helpful. The maintenance worker Dave is the absolute best. He is kind, respectful, and all around helpful. He is truly great at his job. I recommend this property to anyone in the New Haven area. I felt cool as hell living here.

Ninth square building is an amazing part of New Haven history, close to downtown, all the restaurant, theaters, museums, art galleries and have nightlife. Building staff is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating, I have lived in the building over 7yrs and can't ask more for better and affordable living than this. Hope my experience help others in getting there own apartment in the ninth square building and im certain that they will not be disappointed.

Ninth square apts is definately a place to check it out, its in heart of new haven downtown, easily accessible from union train station, closer to the major highways & offers competitive rental options. I have been living in New Haven from past few years and have tried few other rental options however after moving into Ninth square building I don't want to try other places, the Maintenance staff are extremely courteous and fast in fixing issues if any. I would like you all to strongly consider this phenomanal rental property as I did, I hope my review help others in making there rental decision

Be wary of the recent flood of 5-star reviews coming in here, all from accounts where this is their first review and whitepages shows they don't even live in new haven. Some reviews as well as the landlord's updates keep saying central AC, but their website shows a model apartment with a window AC installation? When I inquired about a 1-bedroom availability in december i couldn't even get a simple yes or no response via email from Mr. Lomaglio. Something funny is going on here...

I had a comfortable stay at Ninth Square Residencies, and my experience was very positive. The apartment was extremely spacious, with tall ceilings. The closet space is unparalleled, and the bathrooms are huge. The BEST part of Ninth Square Residencies is their service, especially Sam who has always been very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend looking at the apartments here.

I cannot recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I had so many issues that were either not taken care of or mishandled by management. I was told when taking a tour a month before moving in that I would have new carpets installed, and when it came time to move in, the old carpets were still in place so I had to reschedule the moving truck and holdover at my previous apartment.
The heating in the building is extremely weak and never got the apartment above 69 or 70, so I had to run a space heater all day. If you look at reviews on other websites from years ago, the same problem has been thoroughly
