Would not recommend. Had mold throughout our apartment the entire 6 months. They did not clean the air filters when they said they did. Did not look like they took care of the mold problem. Looked like they painted over it and tried to hide it. When I told a staff member named Sharon, she replied with, “oh this is your last month anyway”.
However, we did have some good experience. A girl name Jane was very friendly upon our move in and she was very helpful with any questions we had!

Horrible customer service and management toward long-term renter. Apt was flooded by apts mismanagement of sprinkler system. Apple laptop ruined. Made renter feel bad for not having rental insurance. Told them it was livable so they didnt have to pay for housing and said renter could stay in hotel on their own dime. Multiple items broken in the apt from maintenance (not the flood). Couch is in the kitchen with no real access to laundry room and sink. There is a bed which can be laid down on same flooded carpet so technically the place is (sleepable). Was told they wont pro rate the rent. Its 10

Like others have said, don't plan on ever getting your security deposit back from these people. There is truly no point in doing a thorough cleaning before you move out because you will be charged (at least) $180 regardless. Then, if there's anything left in your security deposit, they'll hold onto it themselves to pay their high trash/water/wastewater fees (which run months behind your actual rent payment). We lived there for three years, never missed a payment (including trash/water/wastewater fees assessed well after we moved out) and left the place in immaculate condition -- and still got no

Horrible company. Scammed me out of my deposit. Had a bunch of ridiculous charges like “large item removal” when I didn’t leave a speck of dirt in my unit. I spent all day wiping stuff down, vacuuming, trying to earn my deposit back. I was expecting a check I instead got a bill. Not to mention the walls are paper thin so expect to listen to all of your neighbors music all night long. Seriously just avoid this place.

The one star is for the staffs friendliness and the amenities. However, I consistently pay $75-$80 more a month for my rent than what is in the signed contract because of the way they split utilities up you actually pay TWICE for your own usage. You can hear absolutely every noise that comes from your neighbors apartments. They allow individuals to smoke both cigarettes and weed IN their apartments and do nothing about it when it affects your apartment and living. I have never left a review before in my life. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. Part of the problem is my lack of properly reading the fine print and I sure as hell wish I could go back in time and do just that.

The Links at Kansas has been a great place to live, close to K-10 and I-70 for people traveling out of town for work. Friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful apartments in all sizes and price ranges. Not to mention the vast amenities available to you at no additional cost. You can’t go wrong at the Links at Kansas.
