Services
Your vacation rental property will need to be registered with the city or county, depending on your location. Five Star can help you with this, and we can set up the inspections and take care of any required updates. Our only purpose is to assist you in getting your home ready for rental. We don't profit from any required updates, of course, and you can either use our services or hire your own contractor.

This is my family’s 10th year coming to big bear and we have never experienced anything like this! The place was infested with rats everywhere !! They gave us an extremely hard time Demetrius especially who stated he’s “from the streets” and doesn’t care before putting us into a new cabin. They had no choice seeing we had all our kids and pregnant wives there they where in professional and rude with the whole situation I wish I could post the videos I recorded in the office with Demetrius he needs to be fired!

We are staying at their pga104 property at 81200 golf view in la Quinta. It appears this is the same home given one star by Ryan Kennedy in a review below 8 months ago - he mentions the same problems and they are still not fixed. The home was poorly stocked and not clean when we arrived. For instance only four sets of glassware for a home advertised to sleep 10, no serve ware at all, broken blender, minimal cooking supplies, no coffee service, etc. The pool was and is green with algae. Checked in to a big bear rental 3pm Sunday. Found electricity not working, resulting in no WiFi/TV/lights in living room.
Called and was told someone would call me back. 3 days later we've checked out and nobody ever called.
Luckily I was able to find the breakers and reset to get power back.
Their maintainance of the place was shocking. The spa was a germ bath with yellow water, no light and broken plastic. Hardly any lights outside worked. The cooker had missing knobs.. I could go on and on.

I normally do not write reviews so forgive me if I don’t cover the points well. But I recently stayed at the PGA111 property in La Quinta located on the 10th hole of the Greg Norman course. First off the house is immaculate and sets up nicely for a large family or a group of friends. Very spacious, the separate casita in the courtyard is sweet, and the home is overall well equipped and makes you feel like you are welcome and right at home. The property owner takes pride in the home and has gone through the steps to make sure guests have every tool from pool toys to BBQ tongs to extra blankets

This company has horrible customer service. A bad review came through on a house they manage a few weeks before my stay. I email Kevin C. Several times over a two week period with no response. When I called the customer service number I was told that kevin was very busy and managed a lot of rentals. I guess he’s too busy to call back because I never heard from him. Very unprofessional. I won’t be renting houses managed by 5 Star Vacation Rentals in the future.

Rented a cabin in Big Bear, paid a lot of money, horrible experience! Nothing worked in the cabin, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave,the place had electrical problems, stains on mattress covers, wood pallet to hold sliding door in a bedroom, dinning table and chairs were very deteriorated. We called five star a thousand times and never got a call back. Don’t stay with these crooks. They false advertise, you will not get a five star cabin but 2 stars. Emily, Chuck or owner Mrs Woods will never call you back, people that answer at this agency say they cannot guarantee a call back, and trust

My family and I have been forced to pay for a home with no working heat in 30 Degree weather. Back in March my family traveled to big bear and booked a home through AIRBNB managed by this company. Upon arrival the heater was not working. It was 5pm and the inside temperature was 55 degrees. We have a 1 year old and it was not an Ideal situation. We contacted this company and they failed to contact the owner for repair approvals or and maintenance company to fix the issue. We told them that we would have to book somewhere else and we did. Now the owner is fighting the cancellation of this booking

This has been a terrible 1 Star Vacation Rental!
This is not our first VRBO and we are exceptionally unhappy. We are most definitely expecting some kind of refund.
We are currently doing dishes by hand because the dishwasher doesn't work
The AC seems to come on but we cannot get the temp in the house below 82-84
The refrigerator in the bar will not get colder than 55*
The King bed advertised in bedroom 3 or 4, is not a King. It's a queen
The main refrigerator door won't close all the way.
Upon arrival, we had to wait an hour in 103* because we couldn't get in the garage door. Had you told

Our rental experience with Five Star Vacation Rental this year, March 2017, was the WORST rental experience of my life. I rented from them three years ago in Big Bear and had a great experience. This year it was awful. The house was completely substandard, the furniture was disgusting, the place had been almost completely gutted as it is for sale. Light fixtures were missing with wires coming out of the wall, the furniture would not even be accepted by Goodwill, the projector fell off the attachment pole while we tried to turn it on, the sliding doors did not lock and close allowing a nice brisk

Let me start by saying how exceptional this company is. I was stressing over leaving my dog home for 4 days with the neighbor. Annette understood my stress and told me I could bring my pet for a $20 a night fee. I was so relieved and it was cheaper than the pet sitter! The cabin was amazing and was exactly like the photos. I stayed in cabin # 3 Five Star Snow Summit. The weather was perfect and the view was spectacular! It really felt like a family vacation. The cabin was cozy and everything was in working condition. Many great memories were made in the game room. Can wait to try one of their other
