We are X2 Realty and X2 Property Management. We're located in the greater Vancouver area of Southwest Washington State in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I was born and raised in Switzerland. There I enjoyed an affluent career in the Swiss banking management industry for many years. While vacationing on Maui in 1999 I met my husband Bobby.

The first step in understanding a 1% listing fee is to learn how real estate brokers (also known as agents) are paid. With most transactions, the average commission is 5-6% of the sale price and that amount is divided between the buyer's and seller's agents. Advertisements that say you can sell your house for 1% of the sale price fail to mention that you pay the buyer's agent's commission.

Monika Bean and her team are wonderful. I had the privilege of working with her on a transaction that just recently recorded. She was the listing agent and was extremely professional, respectful of the timelines regarding the transaction, and kept a very even and calm demeanor throughout the transaction. At the same time, however, she was very attentive the entire time and was not afraid to reach out for questions and/or update requests from me. We just moved from Montana and were staying night to night at a hotel while we looked for a rental house. Our first contact with Bobby was very friendly and professional, and we set up a showing for a house we were interested in. Given our experience with other rental agencies in the area, we had expected a hectic open house where we would be rushing through the door with several other interested parties. However, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the showing was for us alone, and that stress-free viewing really set the tone for the rest of our interactions with X2 Realty / Property Management

My experience with X2 was good at first. I filled out the preapplication and viewed the residence. Bobby told me I could have the place but it was contingent on the credit and background check. There were no true issues with our credit or background.
What he instead decided to decline us on was that our current landlord doesn't like us. This was not based on non payment (since we paid rent up front for year). This was also not based on damage to property (since there is none). It was solely based on the word of a landlord we have had a negative experience with based on his rudeness and disinclination
