Courtney is a compassionate and loving individual that has had an attachment to animals since she was young. Her entire life she grew up caring for her pets and giving them the extra love and care they deserve. As she got older, she knew that it was her calling to remain caring for animals and build a career in the Veterinary Medicine field.
We ask you to call ahead to schedule your pet's appointment. In the case of emergency we will see a pet as a "walk in" or emergent appointment, and make every effort to limit any wait for our regularly scheduled appointments. If you cannot make your pet's appointment we ask that you call to cancel 24 hours in advance.
Did you know most dogs and cats over 3 have some evidence of periodontal (dental) disease? It's not just about bad breath: left untreated, periodontal disease can eventually result in gum infection, tooth loss, and pain, significantly impacting your pet's quality of life. At Millis Animal Hospital, we offer dentistry services including full cleanings under anesthesia and digital dental radiography (X-rays).
Millis Animal Hospital has a full in-house laboratory that allows us to perform routine complete blood counts, blood chemistry, urinalysis, needle aspirate, and fecal testing while you wait. When needed, we also utilize a commercial veterinary testing laboratory for specialized testing and diagnostics.

In all my 40+ years of caring for dogs and cats I have never had a more caring, competent and professional veterinarian as Dr. Flessas. She has always listened to our concerns, AND addressed them all (not an easy find when looking for vets). She has great proficiency in multiple areas of veterinary care, makes sure to review all options, and shows sensitivity and awareness in difficult situations while still being logical and realistic. This was our first appointment after leaving the practice we'd been going to for years. From the moment we were greeted at the door, I was impressed by how friendly, professional, and thorough the Vet Tech was. Next we saw Dr. Nord, who was communicative, obviously highly skilled, and even diagnosed my dog's mystery skin condition that nobody else had been able to figure out. I'm so happy that I found Millis Animal Hospital. Lastly, my dog was happy, so that seals the deal.

My boyfriend and I brought our cat here for the first time on Friday and we were so impressed with the staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They made the whole experience easy and Checkers was also at ease. We would definitely recommend Millis Animal Hospital to our friends and family! My tender little Bubbles is alive today because of the meticulous attention she receives at Millis Animal Hospital (MAH). Whether we get her the medical attention she deserves or roaming the backyard Bubbles and lethargy are opposite on any spectrum. I cannot say enough about the exceptional staff and care here. I have three dogs & they all come here.
One is aggressive and they treat so well and make her feel so comfortable & the visits go 10000x better than anywhere else we’ve experienced.
The other gets anxiety and they talked about doing a Specific protocol to make sure he is less stressed!!! ❤️
This is the most amazing experience I’ve ever had with a vet clinic before. Keep doing An amazing job, it doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated !
