Moved in about half a year ago. Overall place is ok. Management team seems to be very professional and friendly.
Now...
-The Gate Opens Only one way, so if you live by the entrance - you have to circle all around the neighborhood through like 8 speed bumps and waste your time if you entered "gated community" which is technically has only gate for the vehicles. If you are pedestrian -free to come in through all-time open doors.
-Termites colonies been flying every now and then
-Laundy facility still Pay to Use and very dirty
-A/C Filters are not changed as they should.
- Pool is more times

I am living in the building nr. 8 - ten months. All is good and clean here. But my problem isn't solved. I have to write a negative review, and put stars, because kockroachs' problem isn't solved.
Since we moved in I have been finding almost every morning some dead cockroachs. But the worst part of this, some of them were not dead. Three times cockroachs were in my bed and it's awful, I cryied. It's very stressful for me. After every my complaint the pest control comes, but kockroachs keep coming. I keep apartment clean and tried different spays and traps for roaches, but they aren't effective

Renters beware! This place will put your credit score down for two years because they do a hard credit inquiry instead of soft like most. You will never get your deposit back! Never! No matter what, they’ll find a way to charge you for cleaning/repairs, even if you never live in there and never touch anything. You also have to watch the charges on your account, they try to overcharge you, that’s why they confuse you with all the fees, that change month-to-month (like utilities etc.) I always had them correct my balance, every single month! Lived here for two years. Over that time frame, we had several items stolen when maintenance would show up unscheduled. The office personnel did nothing to remedy the situation. On multiple occasions maintenance personnel entered my apartment while either myself or my girlfriend was undressed with us repeatedly yelling that we were not decent and to not come in, and yet, they entered. We had an extension at the end of our lease and the office manager gave their employees free range to our belongings while we were in the process of moving into our new apartment. I have lived at Villas of Bon Secour for 3 years, first in the smallest one-bedroom, The Palmetto, then to the largest two-bedroom, The Laguna, and now I'm transferring to the larger one-bedroom unit, The Perdido.
I have lived in several apartment complexes throughout the years and never felt like I could trust the office staff; maintenance issues were left unresolved for months, bug infestations left untreated after months of proof and documentation, etc.
I am please to say that I have not had any experiences like that at this apartment complex; I've had my air conditioner fixed on a Sunday

Last year I was able to get a one bedroom apartment no problem. Wendy appeared to be very friendly and helpful. But then we started requesting maintenance and that's when the problems started to happen. Staff would come into my place unannounced with petty excuses saying things like "I accidentally walked in," How do you accidentally walk in when you get your keys out to open. There are bug problems all the time, neighbors are always complaining for anything. but the floors aren't even stable. We actually had the crazy idea to renew our lease for a 2 bedroom place. when we did the final walk through

I just moved into Villas at Bon Secour and I am very pleased with the property. The office staff is exceptionally professional and friendly. It was very busy during my lease signing and the manager came in reassured me that I would be happy here and if I needed anything at all to contact her. I've visited several apartment communities and out of them all I feel more at home here. I'm glad to call this place my home. Also as I was moving into my new apartment I met the maintenance supervisor and he also let me know if I needed anything to contact him. I feel safe at home already!:)

Great staff in the office , Charity helped me speed through the application and lease agreement and made it super smooth. The complex is kept very clean and tidy. As far as I have seen that you pay your rent on time and don’t cause problems it’s easy to live here. Grocery store and target 5 mins away and foley just to the north so in a great spot.
