I immediately felt right at home when I walked into my apartment at South Pointe. Paula Mazzarella and management team have been so kind and consistently helpful to me as a new resident. The maintenance team are awesome and extremely helpful. I made up my mind to move to AL because of the friendliness and great atmosphere, I drove across country from CA by myself but never doubted my decision to relocate to AL. My wife and I lived a Southpoint Apartments for four years. We first moved there thinking we would probably be there a year while we looked for a home.
The experience there was so great that we put off trying to find a house. All of the amenities were wonderful.
However, the staff is what made it great. If there was a problem ( which was rare ) they moved quickly to take care of it.
All of the staff there were fantastic.
The reason we left? We finally found a home.

I am beyond impressed with my experience living in the South Pointe Apartment Home community! The ladies in the office go above and beyond in making sure tenants are comfortable and satisfied with their homes. The geniune care and understanding of the staff is something I have never experienced while living in previous apartments. Not to mention the exceptionally well-kept property; from the luscious green grass and the beautiful trees that create the perfect amount of sunshine and shade. Stay away! It used to be such a great place to live, but the last year or so, it has gone down hill. Example- They wanted to replace our floors, but at first refused to pay for us to stay elsewhere while it was happening. Then, blamed us, saying we asked for the floors to be replaced, which we never did! Police had to be called often for noise issues and the other tenets are rude. This was such a friendly place to live and I'm so sad that it's gotten so bad. If you aren't in the clique of friends with the office staff, no one cares about you. My boyfriend and I applied for a South Pointe home in the Summer of 2020. Turns out, someone applied for the same house about 30 minutes ahead of us! Sarah and the office staff were very helpful, and processed our application and put it down on the next available house. Me and my boyfriend LOVE the house we live in. We have lived here since August, and have not had a single issue. The houses and neighborhood are both really quiet and kept so clean! I love not having to cut my own grass! They are also pet friendly (which is hard to find). They even plan fun and safe events for neighbors to come

This is a very quiet and peaceful complex.
I haven’t lived in an apartment in years. South Pointe has exceeded my expectations.
The pool is awesome.

We moved into a 1/1 apartment February 2018, we absolutely loved it! When our lease was up, we moved into a 2/2 apartment because our family was expanding. Fast forward the clock to now and we are moving into a 3/2 house in the same community. We absolutely LOVE everything about this community. The staff, the amenities, and all of the homes and apartments. If you want that southern hospitality, then look nowhere else. They have always been wonderful!!! Whether you are just starting your new life, or retiring, it’s worth every penny!
