I've been having Grant Chapman at Tyrosys work on my Ma'c, solve technical problems, etc., for several years now and am never disappointed. He's a top rate Mac technician.

Not impressed at all. The manager was rude and condescending. We’ll take our computer elsewhere.
Follow up to owner's reply below: Thank you for demonstrating my point! I brought in a laptop that had had a recall and when I asked about it, you blew it off. I was not looking for a freebie, but for someone to service the machine. Your attitude in the reply below says it all. I will take my business to a company that listens to the customer and does their best to provide good service.

These guys are great. Extra perk — unlike a standard Apple send-off, they won't do a factory reset and wipe your computer clean, unless that's what you want. Smart, fast, fair and easy to work with. Go here.

I went to Tyrosys Corp to get my 2020 MacBook Pro screen replaced when it stopped working. I picked Tyrosys because I wanted to find an alternative to the Apple Store (the last time I went for a broken screen, they wanted to take my computer and repair it, without even running diagnostics or looking at it).
Bill and Grant are exceptional at what they do. They not only communicated to me what needed to be done, but they told me how it happened and how to avoid it. They fact-checked their prices for a replacement screen in front of me and were completely transparent about the whole process. They

Tried to charge $85 to wipe off two drops of some residue inside my MacBook. We had it opened up on the counter and determined there was liquid damage, which is why the keys were sticking. There were a couple drops of residue on the motherboard that could’ve been wiped away in two seconds as a courtesy… (I get that this requires disconnectIng the battery briefly, but it would take two seconds to do so and then use an alcohol wipe, and call it a day. Unfortunately the manager decided it was necessary to try and charge me $85 for further “diagnostics” to do so, even though we already knew

Would not recommend for AppleCare repairs. Charges extra and wanted even more for “diagnostics”. Tried to bring them business instead of Apple Store or Depot repair because they’re local. Was pretty much told to take my business elsewhere because it wasn’t worth their time to fix it for Apple.

This was the best place I could have taken my MacBook after spilling water on it. The whole process of testing for water damage was done right in front of me. Bill was very informative about everything he was doing and his thought process on what parts were damaged and where the problems came from. He showed me all of the parts he was looking at and pointed out damaged spots he thought could cause problems. Instead of jumping to conclusions, he tried multiple things to make sure that all of the parts were still viable. I ended up not having to spend any extra money on replacement parts. And I have

I'm a photographer and when I discovered my Mac hard drive was failing I was freaking out because I had a ton of sessions and weddings to edit and couldn't be out of commission very long. Bill and Grant were fabulous! They were quick to respond, quick to get it taken care of and quick to get it back to me. They helped me navigate the situation, never tried to up-sell me on stuff I didn't need. They were honest about what I could do in the way of upgrades but that I didn't need to go that big. It's an old Mac but it will still be an amazing machine for years to come thanks to Tyrosys. I'm a small

It happens......laptop died after a long life. Tyrosys investigated on the spot and diagnosed in minutes. Unfortunately the repair wasn't worth it. Tryosys was open an honest about that; they didn't try to upsell or otherwise convince me of some services to grab a quick buck. Recommend that I buy new one from Costco and that they could pull the data directly off the old memory if i wanted for an up-to-the day backup restoration....which is what i did. All done the same day. Nice job Tyrosys. Hope i don't need service again for a long while, but if i do i know where to go!!

Just received my MacBook Pro back from Tyrosys. A cracked screen—repaired, and back to me in two days. Impressive. This is the second time I've taken my Macs into these guys. The first time was a replacement battery on my MacAir. Grant was the one who dealt with me both times. Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. And much appreciated. I know they do a lot more than just repair Macs, but I for one will always bring my Apple issues to Tyrosys. Much as though I like the marketing behind the 'Geniuses' at the Apple stores, I'd rather go to the real thing!
