Dr. Hoang is incredibly kind as the name of his clinic suggests; he will immediately try to find common ground with you on something and chat with you about it to make what can sometimes be uncomfortable procedures (like pupil dilations, etc.) more bearable. Short wait times and real nice doctor and medical assistant makes Kind Eyecare a great ophthalmology clinic to visit

I recently had cornea and cataract surgeries.
I could not have found a better doctor than Dr. Khoa Hoang to be my doctor through my journey to better eye sight.
Dr. Hoang was very hands on and went through every procedure to explain the steps. He was extremely well knowledgeable and paid attention to every detail with patience and explaining the procedures.
The staff was also very attentive and personable.

I can only say that Dr. Hoang has been the greatest. He has been extremely patient and reassuring when it came to addressing my fears and concerns regard my surgery. It turned out exactly as he said it would and if need be I would do it all over again. I can only say that I hope that those in need of eye care get in touch with the best (DR. HOANG). So I want to say Dr. Hoang was by far very professional. I got diagnosed with keratoconus over 4 years ago, and a lot of stores that sells eye glasses just told me it is something I will have to live with. After finding Dr. Hoang he was able to professionally explain to me what keratoconus actually is and how it is progressing in my eyes. He worked with my busy schedule and my time frame to get corneal cross linking procedure done. After getting my last check up I am pleased to know my eyes are improving and all thanks to this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who has keratoconus and is confused

After having surgery with another Doctor and being very dissatisfied with the results. I was subsequently referred to Dr. Hoang by another Doctor and was assured that I would be very happy with the degree of care I would receive. I am a Peri-operative Nurse Practitioner. I have worked with many ophthalmologists in my 20 years as a NP but none as patient and thorough as Dr. Hoang. He is the definition of one on one care. He took his time with me and my mom during her Bilateral Cataract surgeries. He explained the entire process of the surgeries. He took great care of my mom. Although he is busy in the OR and office, he always accommodates my work schedule so that I could bring my mom to appointments. My mom's cataract surgeries were complicated by her macular degeneration but his expertise allowed for successful surgeries

Highly recommend Dr. Hoang. He's a great doctor and I've been his patient for at least 5 years now. After he left the other practice, I had to, sadly, go about looking for another eye doctor (which translates to I basically didn't, then covid hit and I was further delayed in getting my yearly exam). Yearly exams are critical for me bc I'm blind as a bat and therefore require more close monitoring than the average lucky person who can walk into a chain eye care place, grab some glasses, and call it a day. And bc my eye situation is a bit more complicated, having a doctor I trust

I took my 94 year old mother to see Dr. Hoang. His practice is well named. This really is Kind Eyecare. He could have been more gentle or caring. He was so patient and accommodating. Mom could not transfer to the exam chair and at one point he got on his knees so she could stay in her wheelchair while he used a machine to look at her eyes. He took the extra time needed to complete a very thorough exam despite my mom's physical and mental limitations. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an extra special doctor.
