Unfortunately no longer available for short term rental. I stayed for 3 months in 2011; was not happy with location until I got there. Bus routes, BART, Opera, symphony are all out the door. There are neighborhood noises but for god's sake it is in a city and on Van Ness. Close to Hayes Valley restaurants and you can walk across the street to the Opera Cafe or theater. Staff was great.

This place is in a great location in between Hayes Valley and Financial District.

Building is well maintained and very nice. The apartments are renovated to a nice mix of old and new. Modern amenities with a quirky, older feel that gives it character.

Ceilings are high making the apartments feel larger than they are.

The building manager is also wonderful. She was very responsive and helpful any time I needed something or had an issue.

The only reason I would give it 4 instead of 5 stars is it can get a bit noisy being right next to all the events at City Hall. The manager told me as I was
