While we did end up going with a different place, purely due to cost, our experience virtually touring the place with Abby was amazing. She was so beyond sweet and took the time to go through every amenity and any and every question we had. We couldn't find exactly what we were looking for, but she took the time to show us multiple different units to really try and find us the perfect place. If you're looking to rent here, I would highly, highly recommend asking for her (though I'm sure everyone there is awesome). Thank you again for all your help Abby!

Professionally run building in a central location downtown. Staff and service are excellent. The gym here is superb and you likely won't need a gym membership. Literally a 2 minutes walk to muni allowing you freedom to go just about anywhere in SF. Whole Foods will open up soon two blocks down. The other amenities including the rooftop terrace are also quite nice. Really enjoy the big windows in the units and modern layouts.

My experience at Nema has been very good. This 5 start rating and review is for Raymond and the valet staff. They are all very friendly and polite. They work hard and make sure to retrieve your car as soon as possible. No matter how busy they are, they are always very professional and do an amazing job.

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment Muhammad, a member of the hotel's front desk staff, on the outstanding customer service he provided to me this evening today. I left my phone in Uber car, so I went to see my friend who lives In Nema building asking for help. As soon as I approached the front desk, Muhammad was courteous, respectful and accommodating, helping me to connect to my friend. Thanks Muhammad, for all your help on Sunday evening! Now I got my phone back from Uber driver!

The review is for the NEMA Parking garage. Was coming to the building for a hair appointment & wanted a safe place to park because, no way would I take muni to this neighborhood!
Even though the lot signs said full, when I told them I was there for an appt, they took my car no question. There must be an arrangement w/ the salon but whatever the case, I was grateful
When I was ready to pick up my car, it was already in one of their front spots. Zero wait time to get it back. Valets were super friendly. $20 flat fee

The building is old, the apartments - nothing special, no social life, bunch of Facebook interns occupying common areas, unhappy tenants.
Before moving in - take a walk on Mission and Market streets - they are simply not safe and full of mentally ill people.
I was very disappointed and left after got a notification that my rent increased by 30%.

My 5 star review is mainly based on my experience with Aiden Tran. Moving is usually an extremely stressful time for me, however Aiden has been a sigh of relief through this process. He is probably one of the selling points of why I moved here instead of neighboring buildings. He has such an uplifting personality! He has been great at responding to my emails from day 1 of my interest in the NEMA. In fact, he took the time to provide me daily courtesy calls on the status of my application. I expressed my concerns and he worked hard and tried to accommodate my needs. I had a very nice gift from Aiden

I love it @ NEMA. My experience has been fantastic. The building is really nice & clean, my room is spacious & quiet, and the amenities are awesome.
The building location has been super convenient for me as well. It's very central and there is easy access to freeways!

I went to Nema for a viewing and the leasing team was extremely professional. They were able to accommodate my schedule at the last minute (though appointments are preferred) and the showing was very thorough. If possible, request Abby as the leasing agent. She was extremely accommodating - showing me different floorplans (which were exceptionally clean) across both buildings. Futhermore, she clearly made the effort to take into account all my non-negotiables (e.g. price range, apartment size, etc.) and even brainstormed with me on how to get the best deal for my move. Everyone that works in the building are super kinda and professional, from the Leasing agents who helped me find the apartment to the concierge in the south and north tower but a real shot out needs to go to the valet garage attendance those guys work extra hard they are super professional they are super dependable and they are very courteous they've been taking care of my car and I can't say enough good things about Raymond, RJ, steff and angel just to say a few are the best ,,,

Gerlynn was the greatest and quickest responding leasing agent I have ever worked with! While we were looking at different units, she gave us the best virtual tours (since we were apt-hunting from New York) and responded like a flash whenever we emailed or texted. Caroline first and she has been an amazing leasing agent and now justifiably was promoted to marketing for NEMA. She has been so helpful for me and my partner. Our two dogs Ophelia and Xander just adore her. She has made our experience at NEMA relaxing since we began looking in December 2020 for a residence. Caroline has patience, professionalism and a calmness rarely seen in agents, who generally are pushy and annoying. She definitely is the reason we continue to call NEMA our home verses

NEMA has improved a decent amount this year. I think there was a management transition.
Rent is way down due to the COVID exodus, so feels like a good value now.
Pros
- new building
- central to a lot of transit
- most of staff are really pleasant
- great gym
Cons
- not very walkable in the immediate area
- blinds are horrible. They let in a ton of light and keep it way too hot in the summer (much higher higher up than most SF place. You need portable AC)
- windows go outward, so portable AC units don't fit well

I recently leased to live at NEMA, and I can say from the first impressions re: the leasing process this apartment is different. The gym here is its own vibe, which is cleaned every other hour to ensure comfort and safety during c19 - which is beyond what I was expecting.
More importantly, Abby from the leasing office has been uniquely attentive, responsive, and accommodating to our needs in ways other apartments have not. The amenities are absolutely superb, and I took full advantage of everything: rooftop views, the amazing gym, office area downstairs to print things, outdoor grill area, outdoor/indoor lounge areas. And then you have free events throughout the year like Super Bowl and Halloween parties. And these aren't just throwaway events, they're LEGIT parties.
But the cherry on top is how friendly and helpful all the staff is. From the valets to the packaging team to the concierges, everyone
