John Eggenberg is the owner of SUREHOME Inspection Services. John became an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certified home inspector in 1998, and has been inspecting homes for buyers and sellers full time ever since. John has a background in construction inspection and 19 years of home inspection experience.
To help bring you peace of mind, we provide a 90 day warranty on your full home inspection, just in case something goes wrong after we've been there. To make sure your family is safe, we have all the major appliances checked for safety and fire hazards. This includes items such as your furnace, water heater, washer, dryer, stove, etc.
SUREHOME was founded in 2004 by John and Jan Eggenberg. We provide home inspections, pre-inspections, radon and mold testing to Greater Omaha and the surrounding areas. At SUREHOME, we are impartial and work only for you. Our job is to provide you with a comprehensive, fair, independent and objective evaluation of your real estate investment.

SureHome was great to work with. From Sheri on the phone who helped with some confusion I had over scheduling a service, to John who performed my inspection. Everything he did and saw was explained in great detail that me, as a novice home owner could understand. He spent time pointing out his finds to me and my realtor on his report and during a walk through of the house and made me feel confident in the home I was purchasing. Can’t recommend enough!

John Eggenberg performed an inspection on a home I am buying. He arrived and finished exactly on time. He went over his findings very thoroughly and also provided recommendations on which things needed repair (inevitable in a 100 yr old house!) and which things could be left as is. I had a question for him a few days later so sent an e-mail, and received a response much quicker than I expected. Mr. Eggenberg was very professional and easy to work with - I strongly recommend him! My realtor also noted that she has worked with Mr. Eggenberg previously, and that he has a good reputation and always

His inspection was thorough and he explained his findings in an easily understood manner, which was super helpful as a first time home buyer.
