Rosy apprenticed with R. Alexander Medin at East London's Yoga Place E2 in Ashtanga Vinyasa style from 1999-2000. During her first pregnancy she studied Active Birth with Carol Ironside in Brighton, England and specializes in Pre and Postnatal yoga. She is deeply influenced by her studies with Sofia Diaz in Tantric Hatha Yoga and completed her 200hr RYT with Psalm Isadora in Primal Core Yoga in 2012.
She is currently a part of Psalm Isadora's teacher training faculty. When you spell out the truth, it loses its essence and becomes either 'my' truth or 'your' truth. I am so fortunate to have found Rosy Moon! I have never connected so well with a yoga teacher before. Rosy's classes are challenging, juicy, and deeply rejuvenating. She's totally present and grounded while keeping things really fun with her wonderful sense of humor and charm. This is beyond a great workout - although it certainly is that - I am talking about an experience of growth, healing, and spirituality. I recommend her classes whole heartedly!

Rosy is awesome! I found Rosy's prenatal yoga class during my first pregnancy and loved her style and presence from the start. She is knowledgeable and warm, and her class is the perfect blend of challenge and grounding relaxation. I have been to many pre-natal yoga classes in the bay area with really great instructors, but Rosy's truly is my favorite class. If purely restorative yoga is your thing, this class may not be for you. If you are looking for a class that strengthens your body and mind, give her class a try!

Rosy is a skilled, experienced, and caring teacher. She has a warm hearted and sharp understanding of how to help people to stretch open and relax into exactly where the need to in order to feel more alive and more at home in their body. I am always happy to work with Rosy, and enjoy the fruits of her years of training.

I've taken a few of Rosie's classes and I like her approach. It feels like she's available to assist, students are welcome to modify poses so that they feel comfortable, and Rosie can really get you sweating.
From what I've percieved, Rosie doesn't seem to believe that there is one "right" way. More so that individuals have their own right way. This causes a feeling of spaciousness in me and I feel like I can more deeply enjoy her class.

I began practicing with Rosy a few years ago, after taking classes with several different teachers. They were fine, and I could feel that yoga helped my strength and flexibility, but ultimately, the poses were just poses. Classes with Rosy are a completely different experience. She has a firm grasp of the way bodies work, and her calm, patient style inspires confidence. That confidence allows students like me to follow her wherever she goes in a class. Each class is a little bit different, as she explores different themes and widens her own scope of yoga practice, so boredom is not an option

I'm very picky about my yoga instructors (I have several injuries and weaknesses that require a lot of adaptation), and I love working with Rosy! When she shows up for our private sessions, I know I'm in good hands. All I have to do is show up to the mat and she's got everything else handled.
Rosy does a great job of adapting every session to my body's needs that day, and giving me a workout that's just past my comfort zone, but never so far out of reach that I feel disconnected from the practice. I know that once I show up and engage, I can turn my brain off and just

As a yoga teacher myself, I can be very picky about whose classes I take.
Rosy has a gift for teaching at multiple levels at the same time. She delivers a powerful, challenging class, with a pace and a depth and an honoring of all students, beginners and teachers alike.
Her classes are always fresh and different: well planned sequences that leave even a seasoned vet like me trying something new and surprisingly challenging.
During my practice I always gain a greater sense of who I am, how to access my previously untapped powers, and where I've been holding myself back.

I've been practicing yoga with Rosy Moon pretty regularly over the past year. Prior to that I spent 13 years exploring different teachers and styles. Living in The Bay Area and at a yoga retreat center in Hawaii has exposed me to a wide range of celebrated instructors. But studying with Rosy has been one of the pivotal experiences in my life.
When I joined an intensive series in which she teaches Primal Core yoga, I was healing from a major back injury and surgery. It was almost like starting yoga from scratch to practice post surgery. Rosy always approached me with care and helped modify

Yoga that makes you think....
I have been going to Rosy's Saturday morning class for several years now, and really can't say enough about what a wonderful teacher she is. She excels at managing a class of varied levels while making everyone feel both included and challenged. But why I really love her class is the extra element that she brings to each session-often starting by sharing a reading, and always encouraging you to think about how tackling physical challenges in yoga class helps you take on the world beyond the mat. This has really helped me find balance in a very busy life

Wow. This woman is a wizard. I hadn't done yoga in *years,* but a friend recommended that I try a one-on-one session with Rosy to help with some of my foot and knee problems. Because I am pretty picky, I wasn't sure I'd be into it, but 6 years of knee pain made me willing to try.
Rosy taught me some ways to work with the alignment of my feet, knees and hips that I'd never seen before, even after working with 3 different physical therapists in the past. At one point, my knee started hurting, and she was able to simply and quickly move my leg around and get my joints back in

I absolutely loved Rosy's bootcamp! I was at the end of working crazy long hours at the desk for 4 months.. meaning I got out of shape .. and my body hurt. Because I'd let myself go I gotta say I was a little nervous about enrolling in Rosy's bootcamp.. but I'm so glad I did! The class was challenging, but you could do the practice at your own level. I found that because of the encouraging and warm environment you really pushed yourself and stayed committed to your goals. I've been to a lot of yoga studios and I really appreciate how attentive and educated Rosy is about
