If you benefit from the material collected here, you can support us with a gift of any amount. Thank you for your generosity. After dreaming into it for years, I'm thrilled to be starting an online sutta study group through Spirit Rock. It's called The Refuge of Dhamma: Exploring the Buddha's Discourses, and we're running it as a 5-class series, with a second series following immediately after the first.

All of our community events are online for the immediate future, on the Zoom platform so that we can interact. Please join us if you would be supported by sagha (spiritual community) in this moment. At the moment there are two regular gatherings: the Tuesday night satsang, and morning practices on the new, full and quarter moon days knows as Uposatha (observance days) in the Buddhist tradition.
Loving the Whole Self: A Day of Mindfulness and Inquiry for Adult Adoptees, Fostered and/or Child Welfare System Survivors. This class is for us who experienced separation from birth families at early ages to explore the heart of the Buddha's teachings: that pain and loss are built into life and are the seeds of wisdom and liberation.

Sean has been my meditation teacher this past year during my yoga teacher training. He has helped me on my spiritual path by showing me how to become better at my meditation practice, how to forgive myself for my shortcomings in meditating, and how to be part of meditation communities of practice. He is extremely knowledgeable, gentle and helpful.

I have taken many classes with Sean at Yoga Tree Telegraph. He is an amazing teacher and his classes, which focus on breath/flow, are always graceful, powerful and well-balanced. I always leave feeling incredibly rejuvenated! His weekend sweat and study workshops are also very nice if you are interested in deepening your practice through the reading and discussion of sacred texts and/ or if you are into thinking and talking about rather complex topics like yourself, human nature, existence. They also include free classes with him during the week over the course of the workshop... a huge bonus
