My heroes!! Everyone is lovely; from the front office, to the assistants, and the doctor is beyond beautiful inside and out. After being turned away from 12 offices--with a jaw the size of a baseball and 10/10 pain, mind you--these folks were like angels that descended from the heavens and brought me to salvation. He knew what the problem was--aside from our broken healthcare system--loaded me up with local, prescribed we with antibiotics and some medicine for pain. Dr. Vatan and his team are without a doubt topshelf. To say I don't like going to the dentist is an understatement...and for no particular reason. The Vatan Dental.group has been treating me for approximately 6 years and EVERY time I am there this team is professional, kind, patient, friendly AND knowledgeable. While being treated, they constantly check in w/me and ask about my comfort and explain what they are doing. As a new patient, I wasn’t sure what my experience would be at my initial visit. I must say I was impressed with the warm friendly greeting of the office staff and the personable and caring nature of Dr Vatan. He went over and aboard by calling me personally to get me scheduled at an earlier appointment time for the next day and ensuring that a prescription was received by my pharmacy for necessary medication prior to my cleaning. I had a great experience at Dr. Vatan's office. The staff was very kind and helpful. I had a problem with a tooth and they attended me quickly without appointment and made sure that I was okay and comfortable. Dr. Vatan is very gentle and professional. I am so happy I could finally find a good dental office. I couldn't recommend them enough. Also, I have my cleaning done regularly at the office and have been very pleased with the results. I would have given 5 stars except 1. I wasn’t checked in by the front desk, so I wasn’t sure if they knew who I was or would be seen, and 2. My husband and and I waited over 30 minutes before being seen for our implant consultation appointment. But once we were, Dr Vatan gave us his undivided attention answering all our questions with confidence and patience. I like the fact that he makes himself available by personal cell phone. Almost 2 years later of my first encounter with Dr.Vatan and his staff. All I can say is that Dr.Vatan and his staff deserve more than 5 stars!
After multiple procedures and clear correct I can guarantee this is the Dentist you need in your life. Dr.Vatan takes his time to explain procedures needed to achieve a wonderful smile or a life with great teeth. Veronica and Donnie are great when explaining billing questions, they go out of their way to provide the best customer service.

I got my cleaning today at Dr. Vatan's office. I found him on Yelp last week 11/1/2020. I called his office to book an appointment for cleaning and retainer removal. After booking my appointment. I received a call from the Dr. himself to ask about my oral health and how I was feeling. He assured me that his office was taking special Covid protocols to keep his staff and patients safe. I was worried about insurance coverage and Donielle (Office manager) worked with me on a great deal.

Dr. Vatan and the staff here are amazing. I had a great experience with everyone and they were all well aware that I was pregnant and wanted to keep me safe and comfortable. Dr Vatan and his staff are truly amazing. (Read most Yelp reviews.) buts it's true when it comes down to this dental group. I work in private banking so my customer service expectations are normally set high, and the staff does a great job truly managing the relationship and exceeding those expectations. 10/10. I even drive from West Hollywood to see him, and we alllllll know how bad the 405 is.

This place must buy 5-star reviews because the staff is a total disaster. Vatan Dental Group came to my job, mentioned they took my insurance, and told me to come check them out. I did. I drove to this place and took time off from work only to find out their staff doesn't do their job. They didn't take my insurance and told me I'd be a private pay/cash patient. I provided all my personal info and confirmed i was all set ahead of time to avoid something like this from happening. The staff pointed fingers at each other. I had a consultation with Dr Vatan this month and I was very pleased. He was very personable and put me at ease. He had a great plan of action for me as well. When I came back for my deep cleaning a quick exam was done and the hygienist determined I should just get a regular cleaning instead and she did a GREAT job. I follow up in 3 months to make sure I'm still on the right track. I left spending half of what I expected and I appreciated having my needs come first not the office bottom line.

I had THE biggest fear of going to the dentist. All of my past dentist experience have been terrible, until I went to Dr. Vatan's Dental Group. They made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Dr. Vatan has a wonderful staff and he himself is an amazing dentist!
I went in with an awful toothache and we started treatment right away. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I had the proper treatment for what I needed. I did not feel a thing when he pulled my tooth out! Since then, I've been going in for my checkups & I'm feeling so much more confident with my smile.

Had a temp crown that hurt like hell. Went back 2wice for adjustments and no luck. 3 weeks later I saw another dentist who said the crown was not placed properly. She adjusted & the pain was gone in a day. They said they wont charge for the crown but they did. I called, got ignored for 2 weeks. Finally got the Dr. on the phone and he tried to play if off and refuses to reimburse me!

Bonnie the Office Manager has been helping me on a SUNDAY to schedule an emergency visit tomorrow. They are willing to work with me on my insurance questions and open to whatever questions I may have over the weekend.
I am already feeling supported before going into the office. They are accommodating and very kind, all the things you would hope and more from a dentist.
I have been to Vatan's office twice now and it has been relaxing, and thorough. All the staff are kind, thoughtful, patient, and the office is clean!

Dr. Vatan and his team are fantastic! I've been coming here for years and always leave satisfied and well taken care of. They take their time to explain every procedure and always make sure your comfortable. They move at your pace so you never feel overwhelmed. You'll never forget an appointment with them. My situation was dire. I woke up 4 days before my wedding with an enormous cold sore. I didn't know what to do and, luckily for me, my Mom found Dr. Vatan. The receptionist was so nice and able to get me in the next morning. The doctor used a laser on the cold sore and burned that sucker right off. By my wedding day, only 3 days later!, my cold sore was completely gone other than a red mark that could be easily covered with makeup.

Vatan Dental has an amazing staff. My husband, kids and I have been going to Dr. Vatan for a few years now. My son is 7 and he does not cry during his procedures. Dr Vatan is gentle and answers any questions you may have at any time. I really enjoy coming into the office. The front desk is great at explaining benefits and scheduling appointments. What I love most is that you can receive txt reminders about your appointments.

I came here due to the great Yelp reviews but I did not have the same experience that everyone else had here with Dr. Vatan. He ran late on all of my appointments, as if my time is somehow less important. A 4-5 appointment quickly turned into 4-6:30 and he was still trying to squeeze in a filling. His assistant was fitting my crown and I did not like that at all. He was very rough and i had no idea what was going on the whole time. Communication goes a long way here. I've been a patient of Dr. Vatan for several years and have always felt he is very personable, yet professional. There have been many opportunities where I've had him suggest better means to perfect my smile, educate me on dental hygiene or simply affirm my day-to-day dental care. He's always positive, even when I forget (or don't) floss and allows me to feel comfortable visiting the office without judgment.
The financial team has always been helpful with processing my Delta dental insurance and working with me on my FSA paperwork, so I've not really worried about that
