Oye, where to start with this apartment. Firstly, all the good reviews seen throughout the internet are because they solicit positive reviews during your first week of residency. These tenants have not been through the entire move in and move out process.
Initially, during signing, it was super easy and seamless. They communicated well. I did ask for a 6 month lease but they put 8 months on the paperwork (I'll take full ownership of not double checking that part - just sneaky. Technically I asked for 3 months or 6 months and they said they do not offer that however, their website says they

Writing this review on behalf of my parents, who have lived here for almost a year--thank goodness it's almost over. They're Chinese immigrants, so they don't typically have an easy time standing up for themselves when it comes to customer service.
The trouble really started when the downstairs neighbor's apartment flooded. The service workers entered my parents' apartment without notice given that it was an emergency. Don't be fooled by positive reviews!! They are not from residents who have lived here and left. These folks incentivize new renters to write positive reviews. Total scam!
Last year when we were looking for apartments we extensively read the negative reviews of this apartment. We weighed our options and thought, "maybe these are one-time things". We were wrong!! Like many others we ended up having to move out in a year. More details:
1. Horrible management: This is by far the most incompetent management I have ever seen running an apartment complex. Their only motivation is to take your money

I would not recommend living here. My car got broken into twice despite it being a gated community and my car being locked. And every month there would be random charges tacked on to the rent, and it’d be higher and higher each month. Noelle Romine, the manager, is also very rude and not personable. The apartments are small (I rented a 2 bedroom) and the layout was awkward.

This review is focused ONLY on the maintenance man, Ray. This review has nothing to do with La Ventana or the amcllc management. Ray is wonderful. He is so friendly and always ready to lend his help when he is here. The complex takes him away to other properties though, so sometimes he (or anyone) may not be available. I always appreciate his help and his personality!

The amenities and grounds are nice. I liked my apartment. Unfortunately I moved in right before COVID, so I didn't get to use the amenities. Then after a year my lease renewed at 20% higher. I researched and found that nation wide, rent increases were 3%. I appealed to management and to corporate who told me they had to keep up with the market, and I was offered a $30/month decrease after the 20% increase, which was basically nothing. So I had to move. I'm a senior, and at my age moving isn't easy. And, silly me, I thought I wouldn't have a rent increase since the pool, hot

I moved to La Ventana apartments from South Carolina about a month ago, and I've been very happy with my decision so far! Kaleah, in particular, was extremely helpful and informative when I visited the complex for a tour, answering all of my questions and guiding me through the application process once I made the decision to stay here. She continued to be helpful after I signed the lease contract, taking the time to develop a 'resident guide' with local restaurants, trails, and breweries -- something that was much appreciated since I have such limited prior knowledge of the area. Update to previous review: Jacqueline never gave up on ensuring our needs were addressed. Our dryer was replaced and other issues we had were addressed by Ray (so friendly). I still see an occasional bug here and there but the pest control is a work order away. Our lease ends the end of this month and I was seriously thinking of staying here another few months but I have a strict budget and rent would be more but a much nicer apartment. I love the area and very professional staff which never gave up on our requests/complaints. Very safe here too. I will truly miss living here.

It’s a nice apartment area. It’s super walkable. But I wouldn’t recommend living here, we would pay like 3 days ahead and they wouldn’t take it out of our account till a few days after it was due, then tell us we need to pay a late fee. When we left they also charged us for the keys that we gave back to them. One time a family member was staying with us and her car got broken into and we went and told them and they didn’t care at all. I will say the maintenance guys are very nice, and get stuff done, but the people who work in the main office don’t care about the renters at all.

Went in on Saturday to tour and Kaleah was incredible! Really pleased with the customer service. Big kudos to her, she’s a great addition to the team!
The grounds are well maintained and the layouts are nice and spacious. The pool is gorgeous! The dog park is nice as well, my fur baby would’ve loved it. I unfortunately didn’t rent here due to not being able to afford it, but I can see why the prices are what they are. I will be referring people here!

This is by far the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. Very peaceful & quiet, great amenities and an awesome front office staff to top it off. Everything is very well maintained and repairs are always taken care of in a timely manner. I can’t think of anything I would change. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a new home.

Ray is such a hardworking guy! He is on time, professional, and ensures his best work is done. He always has a smile on his face and does what he has to do to get the job done. La ventana management and staff is welcoming and very professional.
From the first day we moved in they checked if we needed anything and even recommended great restaurants for us to try the best New Mexican Chile. Apartments are clean, safe, well maintained and staff is always willing to go the extra mile for you!

I recently moved here from the WEST COAST last week and was provided the best customer service by "The La Ventana Dynamic Duo (Assistant Community Manager and Community Manager)." These ladies should get excellent employee performance appraisals that generate an increase in salary and public recognition within and outside of the organization. If I had my own property and need it managed I would try and steal them away from this organization. Great job hiring them, and God bless whoever sat in on their interviews to work here. Update. After staying here almost 3 years moved out just shy of 5 months received a ridiculous summary of charges. They never cleaned the carpet yet want to charge me for replacement. Charged me a cleaning fee during a pandemic.... Hello you have to clean & sanitize the place anyway. But I left it spotless. Be sure if you move out you do a walk through with management do you aren't charged for things that are true. My pictures against your words.
