Gateway At College Station

Getting charged unreasonably high bills for utilities month after month, even though usage has been normal and no reported leakages in the unit. We were also denied from getting a copy of actual usage readings. The property management does not help at all in looking into this issue and just throws their hands up in the air, saying they do not handle utilities and asks us to check with the third-party Simplebills. It is frustrating to raise complaints and follow up each month for the same issue. Expected better service from the team.

This is my second year living here. Management is hard to get a hold of. Feels like there is barely any communication. Somehow we got mold over the summer but maintenance fixed it before we moved in. The wifi is great when using a wired LAN, but is known to be iffy without one. It is hard to walk around when it is dark because some parts of the complex are very dark while some are lit up bright. The paths and streets at the complex are bumpy and have cracks everywhere so it is walkable but not really easy to skate on. The bus stop is only a few minutes walking distance which is nice. I have really enjoyed it!!! Close to campus, and nice apartment overall. Thick walls so I cant hear my roommates too much at all when I am trying to sleep. There has been an ant issue though, but they do a good job taking care of it as they send out people to spray for ants whenever I need it which helps the issue a lot.

This is my second year living here and I really love it! It’s really close to campus and for the price it’s really something you can’t beat anywhere else! Maintenance responds very quickly and the office staff are always super helpful. Definitely recommend living here!

I have really enjoyed my time here at Gateway! I’m so sad to be leaving when I graduate from A&M this December. The staff are all so sweet and friendly and they were always there to fix anything I needed done. Highly recommend Gateway!

I would not recommend the consideration of signing a lease at gateway. while it gets the job done, it is very outdated with little redeeming qualities. upon move in, the unit was not clean. no power in one room, ashtrays and cigarettes in multiple places, and old clothes left in the washer and dryer are a few things to name. however, this stuff can be resolved fairly easily as it is a college apartment and maintence is expected. the real heartburn for me is the rent/utilities. in our unit water is billed for the entire building, so your usage will be much higher than expected. having only lived

I would not recommend living here. It is definitely one of if not the most affordable option within close proximity to campus but within the first month and a half of being here my roommates and I have had to file many work orders about things such as our AC (which to our knowledge still isn't fixed), our washing machine (which we were told was fixed but is still leaking copious amounts of water), and other misc problems. All of which we have had to follow up with multiple times over phone and email. There is also extremely limited storage in the kitchen which is more of a preferential thing. The

Apartments are affordable and decent for students. I really enjoy having my own room and bathroom unlike the dorms.
Maintenance is on top of things and are super nice. The staff in the office are friendly and super helpful.
Management on the other hand is horrible. When I wanted to switch my lease from 10 month to 12 month, I called and they said they would let the leasing manager know. Leasing manager never got back to me. I went into the office TWICE to ask about it but the leasing manager either wasn't there or was busy.

So far as I've lived here I have absolutely no complaints overall. Our door is a little messed up but not that bad. We got an amazing deal on our rooms and my room is absolutely massive, very spacious bathroom, and super spacious closet (This was a rare case but super appreciated). Was fairly clean on move in day. Free parking, good distance from everywhere (besides traffic). Management hasn't been a problem so far. The gym needs some work, PLEASE replace some of that equipment 15-20 people workout there everyday.

Gateway is the best. Love the location, I walk or bike to my classes. Maintenance is the best maintenance I have ever expected. Super friendly staff and they are great at roommate matching. I have moved every year for the past 5 years and this is the only place I have ever renewed

Although my daughter hasn’t officially moved in yet, the determining factor for us to sign with Gateway rather than any other apartment complex, has definitely been the customer service! Paul and Will have always been so professional and very helpful. They were instrumental in our decision to go with Gateway! Looking forward to many more positive experiences! 👍🏼

I started an application but never finished it as I wasn’t too sure if I really wanted to stay here. Later on, I was charged a “previous resident” fee. I called the office about 4-5 times and they said they would fix it. The 5th time I called they said it was a charge I HAD to pay. I tried contacting the Property Accounts Manager twice but they wouldn’t respond to my emails. Came across as really unprofessional. The charge is still there and this situation is current.

Great staff, great events, decent rent. I love living here. Staff is always helpful and I love the events they throw. The apartments are older and the amenities could use some work but still a great place to live. Would recommend it to everyone!

Great staff, they kept the common areas super clean, and they really care about the comfort of the residents. The study spaces are great, really quiet and spacious.

Location is great, amenities as great. You get the most bang for your buck. The place has it's issues but the staff is helpful. Right next to the railroad so it might be a bummer if you always leave late.

Living at Gateway has been a great experience! Maintenance has always been on time, and the staff is super sweet. They really take care of their residents!
