If you are choosing between Southgate and Arlington Cottages go with Arlington Cottages. I lived at Arlington for two years and Southgate for one year. The walls at Southgate are made of concrete which reverberate sound, so any one playing music around you or if the people above you are obese, as many Americans are, then you are stuck in unlivable conditions for a year. They advertise a cheap monthly rent but have several hidden fees that will add up to about the same amount you would pay at other apartment complexes. The fees we had to pay were a electricity turn on fee which was $200, a fee of

They kept telling me their would be a gym here soon but it took about a year for it to actually come. I’ve had many emails ignored by them. I had a mold issue and had a maintenance request put in before I left to stay with my parents for a month then came back and the mold had spread across my room and closet since the maintenance never came. Then they came they did clean it out nicely but they also threw away personal belongings of mine that could have been cleaned before asking me. After the mold, my asthma got significantly worse and still hasn’t improved to this day. Ive had to go on multiple

The property is well maintained and clean. The location is perfect! The apartments are very beautiful, comfortable and well-designed. Amenities like a walk-in closets, excellent large bathrooms and bathtubs make the units highly desirable. Strong, updated units with fabulous design gives for a home that is deluxe, warm, and cozy. Blake and Tammy are always extremely helpful and willing to work with their tenants on everything. If you have any questions or concerns they usually get back to you with an answer within minutes. Could not ask for better service from the front desk. Apartments are also nice and maintenance is on top of things.
