Living at Sofi Belmont Glen has truly been the best apartment living experience of my life (and I have lived in many apartment complexes over the years)!!
First, the building itself is located in the hills, is beautifully landscaped, surrounded by nature, and offers wonderful views of the Bay Area! Although it is an older building, I actually view this as a plus as, for example, our balconies are approximately 15 feet wide (something you simply don't find in more modern apartment complexes today). We lived at SOFI Belmont Glen for just under a year, and it was by far the best apartment and building we've lived in. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, especially the property manager Charlie who was consistently accessible and helpful. We moved in during COVID, and everything went smoothly. The community is great, and the facilities are very dog-friendly. We're only leaving because we are relocating for a job. Otherwise, we'd have been happy to stay with the SOFI community for a much longer time.

I've been living at Sofi Belmont Glen since the fall and can honestly say it is by far the best complex I've ever lived at. Moving during CoVid was very nerve wracking, but the property manager Charlie made it a very comfortable experience. His communication is amazing, always giving very quick responses, reliable, and going above and beyond to help me with any issues or concerns. You can tell he is very passionate about his job and genuinely cares that each resident has the best experience possible. I've never met a more caring, professional, and engaging property manager. This was by far the most enjoyable apartment hunting experience thus far. Charlie was beyond helpful in trying to find a rate and a unit that would be a perfect fit for me. We must have talked several times a week and he always returned my calls! I ended up deciding not to move at the moment for various reasons but I will keep this place in mind when I am ready. I lived at Sofi Belmont Glen for 3 and a half years and had a good enough living experience for the most part, but boy have they been difficult to deal with ever since I moved out.
First of all, they use an answering service to handle everything, so even though I have found Edith and Charlie to be fine folks, they're impossible to get in touch with when you actually need them for something besides signing a lease.
I have now called 3 times about my security deposit, which I still haven't received now well over 2 months since leaving. This is despite receiving a notice in the mail

The experience of deciding whether to rent an apartment could not have been better. I dealt with Charlie through all of my inquiries and he was a true marathoner. He handled all of my questions and requests whilst always being patient, pleasant and so very helpful. He took initiative to seek out answers to my questions or solutions to potential problems I didn't expect him to figure out. I am also impressed with the structure they have put in place to allow residents to continue to benefit from the amenities that are tricky to access in COVID times while also keeping a very strong commitment

This is a great property in the area. The value cannot be beat. Friendly onsite manager, Charlie, whom truly works his hardest to make tenants happy. I rented my unit, site-unseen, and needed a larger place. He immediately transferred my lease and made sure I was happy. I highly recommend the building for Belmont, CA. Best value by far.
One tip: I would try to get on a high floor, it is well worth the difference in price. We couldn't be happier!

I love living in Sofi Belmont Glen. After touring more than 10 places to live, the choice was easy.
Charlie is very helpful and has made living and transitioning very pleasant.
The apartment unit and complex is very clean, the community is peaceful and there are zero complaints. It really helps living in a positive place during these trying times. I am so excited to start a life in Belmont.

I just moved into this location as of 9/1/2020 and I am more than pleased. Leaving the city was a big deal and I really didn't want to, but honestly, the customer service from Charlie (leasing office manager), the cleanliness and amenities really influenced myself and my husband.
Every question has been followed up with, our unit was presentable on move in and Charlie took care of a unique move in situation for us. I ask a lot of questions and can be a bit annoying, but he was kind and patient with me! Thank you!

Looking for an apartment in the Bay Area can be a challenge, but doing it in the middle of a pandemic has been extra stressful. The property manager of Belmont Glen, Charlie, has made the process of finding our new home wonderful! He has been so attentive and accommodating to our needs and has truly gone above and beyond. We haven't even moved in yet, but we already feel so welcomed and at home there.
The apartments are gorgeous. Everything is so spacious and updated and we can't wait to move in!

Just moved in a few weeks ago. Love the location, so close to the city and on the hills in Belmont so close to many hiking trails. Our apartment layout is also great, with lots of open space and closets! To top it off the leasing manager, Charlie, has been so extremely helpful to us during every part of the move!

Just moved here and I have to say, I am ecstatic with the decision. The building is gorgeous, inviting, well maintained, and has friendly staff. My apartment itself is absolutely phenomenal and was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for my move-in.
Most importantly, however, has been my experience working with Charlie. If I could give a zero stars I would. Honestly the WORST place I have ever lived at, and management is HORRIBLE there is a new one everyone month it seems like. Please, people don't fall for this place it smells like dog shi* all the time. Yes, it's pet friendly, but they are simply gross. I am beyond disappointed in this place!

I would give a zero star if I could for the customer service. I have been calling and sending emails and no answers whatsoever. This is a shame after being a resident for 6 months and after being the one contacting the residence manager about my final bill. No answers to my emails or phone calls and especially no calls from the regional manager as she was promising. I am very disappointed with the customer service. Honestly I didn't care much about the old building it was a very quiet area. If I had to go back to Cali I would never rent at sofi Belmont never ever. It is overrated and too expensive

The Glen apartments is really old. Even though all the renovations make it look fancy, the 1960s building shows its true colors now and then. We moved in mid summer of 2017. I would not say the apartment was everything we expected but things were ok. Our daughter was born mid September.
When the cold season set in, in November, she developed eczema. She was constantly scratching herself and had a very very difficult time sleeping through the night. We changed a lot of things in our lives to help her from the laundry detergent to the entire family's diet. Nothing helped. Accidentally in early April

On 09-08-2011 break ins have happened in the apartment. The thieves knew the entire apartment inside out. There wasn't any forced entry, all the locks were opened using bump keys.
What management did was replaced all the locks which can again be opened using the bump key. As far as I know there has being 2 break ins on 09-08-2011. There were more in the past.
Everything valuable were stolen from the house including laptops, ipods and many more.
Please don't consider as negative comments. It is information be careful. Belmont used to be safe place and the high prices are paid for the safety.
