Lived at Riverwatch for two years and just renewed for another year. Each unit are individually owned and decorated. Rooms are fairly quiet. Laundry facilities (cashless), mailboxes and package services are easily accessible and located on first floor. Elevators updated few years ago. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. Parking provided onsite. (However, cars need to be moved to side lot during home football games.) Building is secure. Walking/Bike trail is nearby. Short walk to campus. Rooms are dark so extra lamps may be needed. Air circulation in one bedroom has been an issue

Y'all, avoid this place at all cost. the only.. and i mean ONLY nice thing about this place is the location.
The inside is that of a dungeon, dark & gloomy. The walls are extremely thin, so you might end up hearing other people screaming at the crack of dawn. Also, the room itself was dirty and suspicious, i contracted infectious diseases from living here.
DO. NOT. RENT.

I enjoyed my stay here for three years. It is close to the OSU campus and a quiet place to live. The maintenance is quick during weekday hours. It feels safe to walk home late at night from the library.  And Robbin has been so nice and answers all questions, and really went out of her way to help me solve problems when it occurs. It's been a pleasure to live here!

I stayed in an apartment here back in 2014 and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The fridge had gnat pupa shells that kept getting blown into the main portion of it. There were several spots with damages that was from a previous tenant that I wasn’t responsible for. And they took that out of my security deposit. I absolutely would not go here and would look for other housing.

I've lived here for about 2 years now while going to OSU. Besides the building itself is older than most, the location is exactly what you need here at Riverwatch. It is walking distance to everywhere to you need to be, walking distance to anywhere on campus, across the street from the stadium, down the street from High St., and right next to Olentangy River. The staff here is very helpful whenever you need help for anything, Ask for Robin at the front & she'll definitely take care of you. Her kindness & hospitality will make you feel right at home. Riverwatch is great place right

Great place to live, have been living at Riverwatch for over 2 years now for school and couldn’t be happier. Staff is very helpful, building/hallways are clean. Building as very secure as they have security and there has not been one second when i haven’t felt safe. Good sized apartments that are nice and clean. Close to campus, only a 5 minute walk to OSU. Great location, great staff and overall great place to live!

I have lived at Riverwatch Tower for ~3 years now and so far its been a great experience. Robbin who works at the front desk is by far one of the nicest people I have met and is extremely supportive in any questions/concerns. The maintenance on the building is up to date and the maintenance office is always available during weekly hours. The package room, study space, laundry room and lobby is modern, has up to date amenities and always open. Security is very strict with 24 hour security guards keeping everyone safe. Overall, living at Riverwatch tower is a positive experience and I will continue

I've lived here for 5 years now and it is a very calm place to live in. You can't beat the location: a 5 min walk to OSU campus, stadium, gym, tennis courts, swimming pool, and a 2 min walk to the relaxing Olentangy trail. It is on the N2 COTA bus line, so easy access to/from downtown. The laundry room is convenient and always available. Special shoutout to Robin Culbertson, the condominium manager, who always goes out of her way to solve any problems that may arise, quickly and efficiently. Safe place, with always a guard on place after 5pm until the office opens at 9am.

Riverwatch Tower is a great place to live at - walking distance to OSU's Business school, restaurants, CVS, and High St! It is located in a prime spot by the football stadium. The management is friendly and quickly caters to the our needs. It is convenient given that the apartments are furnished which means less hassle moving in and out! Great experience!

I am a security guard for Riverwatch Tower condominium/apartment complex on Lane Ave. just across from The Ohio State University. As a security guard our number 1 priority is to make sure the residents and the apartment/condo complex are a safe and secured place to live. Being a security guard I enjoy my job very much and I am very devoted to making sure the residents, their unit, the building, and the property are safe and secured.
The residents here are very nice and pleasant to work for and their safety is important to us all. All of the internal associates of Riverwatch Tower are very dedicated

Riverwatch tower is very outdated. Carpets are old and dirty, the elevators go out almost every week. They currently have only one elevator working for a 11 story building and it is predicted that it will be out for an entire year which is such an inconvenience as the elevators are constantly in use. The laundry room is not clean ever, and the washers and dryers barely work. Their General Manager Robbin is very rude and unprofessional, the rest of the staff working there are irresponsible and they barely do their jobs. They do not want to help you in any way possible. Definitely worth paying a

Lived at Riverwatch for 5 years. Lots of updates made over the last couple years. New laundry room, always good water pressure. Units are individually owned-my unit was updated with new flooring and a bar area counter
Very close to Fisher Business school and Engineering. Parking on site for game days. Right along the Olentangy River Paved paths.

While my son has not moved into Riverwatch Towers just yet, just want to say that so far the experience has been great. The property manager, Jill Isaly responded quickly via leasing agents Samuel Evanosky and Kiersten Johnson who were very helpful and efficient in putting my son in contact with a unit owner, Chuck Matthews right away. Having the property management respond so quickly was such a blessing as I have been soooo nervous about us finding a place that would well for us. Chuck Matthews has been great. Mr. Matthews agreed to rent his unit to us even though my son did not feel comfortable

Laundry room and heater don't work. Can only pick package during specific time. Fire alarm rings because of the old system. People live here ONLY because it's close to campus.

When it comes to campus apartment options, you could certainly do worse than Riverwatch, but it's honestly not that great.

My roommates and I decided to live here because it is furnished, and my roommate, being from Virginia, did not want to have to transport her furniture or buy new here.
And it is better priced than the ridiculous Harrison Apartments. It also comes with water and internet paid for, and a laundry facility, and great proximity to campus.

But hold up. The internet is so slow to the point of often not even working. The dryers don't dry. The elevators are sometimes down

I was shown 6 apartments. All but one were in less than fair condition. The carpet is worn and the kitchen and bath flooring is worn, chipped and peeling in some instances. The bathrooms have old, dirty grout, and the furniture is ugly and chipped. The kitchen appliances are older, and the cabinets are worn. The prices for a studio will range from 670.00 a month to 800.00 a month, depending on size. You will pay extra for a window that opens--go figure. The sizes of the rooms are better than those at The Ohio Stater, but again, the conditions are less than optimal. The location is great, but parking

Unlike too many OSU upperclassmen, I don't bother living east of High Street because 1) as a slightly older transfer student (24 years old), I don't have as much regard for parties; 2) I actually care about living in a facility conducive to apartment living and *not* in a converted foreclosed house; and 3) I am grateful that my family can afford to pay for my living solo, and *not* with twenty other (possibly underage) roommates. Also, I'm too lazy to seek out furniture packages, which basically leaves me with the pre-furnished options of on-campus accommodations--as in, Buckeye
