With individual leases, you are only responsible for your (or your student's) rent. You aren't liable for your roommates' rent at all! Unlike a traditional lease or a joint lease, if your roommate transfers, graduates, or fails to pay his/her rent, it does not affect you or your lease. College students have enough to worry about; an individual lease is one less thing!
In case of any issues or concerns regarding your child, please contact the Office at the Plato's Villas at San Marcos. The office is located at 2400 W Tharpe Street Tallahassee, FL 32303 and open from 10 AM - 5 PM on weekdays. Plato's Villas at San Marcos maintain a full-time maintenance staff available to complete routine maintenance requests.

My friend and i moved into a newly renovated unit in December of 2020. The manager told us one price, and within 3 months it was almost twice the original price with "taxes and fees," as that's the explanation i got. Several small flaws throughout the apartment have been brought to the attention of the office from day one, time and time again, and to this day they continue to ignore us and several other neighbors of ours that we just happen to hear complaining about the same problems we were having. The public community wifi almost can't load a website, much less play videos/tv, and the office

I’ve been living here for about a month and so far so great ! The community is quite and clean and the staff is AMAZING! As women usually do I have had a few concerns that have been addressed promptly and efficiently adding even more of a cherry on this amazing cake! Due to the pandemic I was very skeptical about how roommates and cleaning the units would be , yet again the management made me more than comfortable and with a peace of mind. I wish I would have known about this property years ago ! I will definitely be signing again !

I moved in this past weekend, and I really can't complain. I was missing a dresser in my room, notified the office, and they brought one to me within minutes. Kaylee and Cole are so sweet and extremely helpful. I also needed a little bit of help moving some things upstairs and the maintenance guy, Chris was happy to help. I recommend this place to any student not looking to pay an extreme price.

I've been living here since Aug 2019 and haven't had too many problems. Overall, it's decent and quiet -- which is what I look for in the places I live. It doesn't have luxury amenities, but I never expected that or really cared for it. The internet has gone out a few times in the time I've lived here, but the internet support technicians typically fix the issues in a timely manner. Management is cool; they seem pretty chill and are easy to talk to. And the apartment units are very decently sized. My experience has been a pretty good one.

Did NOT keep promises made before and during the pandemic. Miscommunication occurred between managers. Inability to contact the regional manager while issues occurred because she “only has a cell phone”. If you pay your bill via online payment they will charge you $40 for insufficient funds even when you have the money in your account. Halfway into the lease I refused to make online payments and only do cash orders at Publix to turn in my rent.

After reading some sketchy reviews about the community, I was hesitant on moving there. When I moved in, it wasn’t anything but awesome! Management changed in 2019 and the new company has made major improvements and changes to the community. The new manager and leasing manager (Cole and Kaylee) were very helpful during the whole process. Thank you so much and I highly suggest looking past the reviews in this place.

In my opinion this is the worst student apartment I’ve ever stayed at. From day one it’s been hell and so was our fourth roommate. Our apartment was dirty when we moved in. The carpets definitely need to be replaced they are dirty and matted, I don’t even walk around my own house barefoot cause of the carpets. When we moved in we had old and new furniture in our living room for about a week and they took the new furniture and left us with old run down furniture. Trash takes over the neighborhood and the maintenance men pick and choose if they wanna do the maintenance request in a timely manner
