Encantada Tucson National

This is the only review I've ever left anywhere. If you're expecting helpful customer service then don't waste your time living here. If anything remotely goes wrong be prepared to be told it's your fault and nothing can be done to help. The customer service line for the parent company HSL is also a complete joke, every encounter with someone on the phone has been rude and condescending.

The landscaping is just exceptional. I walk every morning and the community is just so peaceful. The two pools are beautiful and always sparkling. The front office is so warm and welcoming, with coffee and tea for any visitors or residents. I love living here!

Not one to post nasty reviews but here we go. This is a charming location, but the management is very irresponsible. There is no clear protocol for day to day tasks. I was on a continuous reoccurring payment plan for a year and without notifying me this was stopped. I got an eviction notice on my door, and when I went to the office and asked why I had not been contacted before regarding this they had absolutely no answer.
When I questioned their protocol, there was no answer. The girls at the front apologized for the lack of organization but were absolutely no help in finding a solution.

Nice floor plan, but watch out for cheap flooring, appliances, etc.
Also watch out for sneaky charges at move out... they're listing on the online portal that they're double charging me last month rent, and nickel and diming move out charges. They took money out of my security deposit and when I called it took them a few tries to come up with a fee I hadn't already paid (including the fact that they supposedly paint the apartments with each new tenant but I was charged a painting fee for normal wear and tear marks on the wall)

We have absolutely loved living here! The matinence staff are so friendly and come to help very quickly. I know them by name and love seeing them around. The front desk associates are so nice and helpful. The amenities are amazing!! The dog park and the pools have been amazing for our family and the gym is huge and clean. The theater is SO COOL, but a little hard to learn how to use. I suggest asking a front desk associate show you how to use it. The apartments are spacious and new and we just love it.

Shady practices all around. Half way through my lease they changed it so that renters pay the majority of the common electricity (not in the original agreement). Then when it came time to renew apartments, I looked at units exactly like the one we own were over 200$ cheaper (and there were 4 to 5). Unless you pay a transfer fee and move across the street, the new year rate is non-negotiable. Their response to this was "but we kept your rate the same" as if you should be happy about this. But you can bet if the market was going up they wouldn't be keeping the prices the same.

This place is going downhill fast. They want to blame the pandemic but they are just being greedy and unreasonable and looking the other way as long as they can get people that actually pay rent. Landscaping starts bright and early every Friday morning between 7 &8 am. They will be right outside your window sharpening their tools and pulsating leaf blowers. They take breaks in covered parking preventing people from parking there and urinate outside behind dumpsters etc. back to parking. They do NOTHING to enforce parking! My neighbor has a one bedroom place and has had as many as 4 cars!!!

The only good thing I can say about these apartments is that they are an “eye candy”. Grounds are nice and the granite countertop is nice but I’m so glad that I finally moved out! The management there is horrible (especially Britney, the assistant community director) . They treat you like you don’t know what you’re talking about when bringing up an issue to them. I've never lived in an apartment. Always owned and maintained my own home. So I was truly shocked when I started touring apartment complexes. I felt immediate regret for selling my house. Then I toured Encantada. It was love at first sight. I knew I could move in without having to hire my own cleaning crew. The staff, Marisa especially, were extremely good to me. I highly recommend Encantada Canyon Trails apartments, a delightful place to temporarily live. I landed there for 4 months while transitioning from CA to AZ to learn the area, while looking for my new home to purchase. I really appreciated David, Shelly & Marisa in the office, always willing to help & provide great information that made my task so much easier. The beautiful grounds are exceptionally maintained, very comfortable & secure, the amenities were well worth the price of admission.

The best part of living in here is the staff, super friendly, super professional, every time I've reach them I've received a great service.
Location is really convenient, we just moved from Houston and we loved the nice mountain view.

I just renewed for the fourth time, so that should tell you almost everything you need to know. First moved into a 2BR XL when there were only three or four buildings up, and now in a 1BR. Encantada offers the best value for your money out of any apartments in Tucson, hands down - great apartments (the layouts are actually logical and properly-sized), well-equipped gym, awesome pool, and a fantastic staff to support it all. Absolutely no complaints - I've loved my time living here and would strongly recommend it to anyone. (I'm particularly fond of the sunset views off my patio - makes an evening

My boyfriend and I have lived here for two years now and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff is so friendly and will accommodate your needs quick and efficiently. The facilities are always sparkling clean and the landscaping is well kept. The location is so close to anything you need too - grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater, etc. We highly recommend Encantada Canyon Trails to anyone and have loved our time here!

I lived here from July 2018 through July 2019. My experience here has created such a high standard as far as apartment communities, which can be a bad thing since I am having to move back to California from Arizona. If I could magically take this apartment community with me, I would. There was nothing to complain about (except for my upstairs neighbors with a toddler up at all hours but thats just the luck of the draw with apartment living). We stayed at Encantada Canyon Trails for 6 months while our house was being built. All of the Staff were fantastic to work with and they did a great job at managing and maintaining this facility. One of the few that rent on a monthly basis, for those like us in transition, and a comfortable setting to call home for a short time. We will miss chatting with the Staff on a regular basis.

My Fiancé is deploying and we recently wanted to rent here..but one of the associates was not very nice and acted like WE were bothering here every time we called to check up on our application and still haven't heard back from them at ALL!! all we had wanted to do was move in before he leaves on the 18th of April..I hope to speak to a manager because they have no sense of deployments and or how it affects our family! thank you!

Who wrote these reviews current staff? The management have no ethics or moral compass. Current residents are running out of here. Staff will smile through their teeth and lie in order to get you to sign the lease, but once you do they will nickle and dime you to death. The amenities are great but similar and in some cases much nicer ones are available elsewhere. I've lived here for more than a year and received nothing but prompt and personal service. The apartments are close to the interstate and plenty of restaurants and shopping but far enough away from major streets so as not to be noisy. The staff consistently takes care of any issue I bring to their attention. The other day, Karen who works in the office helped me carry my large packages all the way from the office to my apartment and I didn't even ask! The landscaping is lush and maintained weekly. I love my place and am very happy to live here!
