Didn’t even have to live in this place to know it was a total scam. The leasing office did not answer a single call and it made sense as to why a lot of people were selling their leases here. The management never answered their phone a single bit. The actual management that manages this property has had a lawsuit against them as well. There is no hope. The parking was $50 a month for a pass and the parking is extremely crammed. There was told to be an underground parking garage never seen it. These people will literally never answer your phone calls or emails on purpose.

I gave it one star because it won’t let me give it zero. The only positive quality about this apartment is its proximity to campus, that’s it.
If they want to make this place livable it should be demolished and rebuilt by someone competent.
Avoid this place like the plague, they look for any reason to fine you and take your money, rent is too high for what you get, the management was some of the worst I have ever experienced and it was clear they didn’t care about the tenets, the apartments are garbage and a health hazard. The AC went out twice it took them over a month to fix it each time

One of the worst places to live. Management has just diapered completely. I've been trying to get our heater fixed for about three weeks now. They sent someone who said they couldn't fix it and haven't heard from them since. We also have terrible parking and trash is always pilling up. There hasn't been a grounds keeper since the day I moved in. I've had a surprise roommate move in to my shared room with zero warning. the pool and hot tub have been broke since I got here as well. took about a 7 weeks for them to fix our air conditioning in the summer. the laundry room is always filthy. Tons of

This is the worst place I've ever lived. There's not enough parking for all of the people who live here, and halfway through my lease they changed the parking policy. It went from only $20 a month to $50 a month, which is more than you would pay for a school parking pass. And only 150 people could have one, so if your not one of them you sell your car? I normally don't like posting reviews, but this place is so bad I just couldn't help it. Don't live here, save yourself. Or buy my lease please.

I would have been better off living on the streets rather than living in my mouse infested, nasty apartment. The management is very good at tricking you into renting here and the second you sign your lease they are going to screw you over again and again. If there is one thing I could change in my life it would be living here. Every time I would walk into my apartment I felt disgusting and was always worried I was going to run into a mouse or a swarm of bugs. Don't even waste your time going to look at this place, they will show you their best apartment (which isn't even that nice), and try and

Living here was the worst decision I have ever made. I sold my lease 3 months into my lease, it was absolutely awful. I never got a key to get into my apartment, apparently there wasn't enough for all the roommates?? Not sure how that works. We had a huge mouse problem, we were catching 3-4 mice A DAY. We were the once that had to take care of them and reset the traps. We had to constantly nag the leasing office, I’m talking about going in every single day, 3 weeks later we finally got some help, but by the time we had killed most of the mice on our own. There was always trash everywhere, dumpsters

My biggest regret is ever giving these people my money. The apartments are gross starting with the nasty furniture and carpets. For the first month we had a HUGE mouse problem - we were catching 3 to 4 mouses a day! - and they did nothing about it. Management and the leasing office at first seems to be nice and helpful but when you actually need something they are useless. The parking is a joke too. I first signed my contract agreeing to pay $20 a month for parking, three months in they changed it to $50. That made my rent go up so much and became out of my price range. When I got my new $50 parking

Lived here for a year. when i moved in there was a missing floorboard that i requested to get fixed 3 times, never got fixed. When I moved out they charged me a maintenance fee for it but locked me out of my account to pay it. It has been 4 months since i moved out and they haven't let me back into my account to pay it but are also threatening to take my balance to collections. Horrible office crew on top of horribly kept property... not a good look.

The location was great and all but management could have been better me and my roommates put in multiple requests to get our ac fixed for months and they gave us the go around until the last three weeks of our contract. On the day before move out they finally came and fixed all the other maintenance requests that we turned in a month or two before.

We have had a non functioning sink and dishwasher for weeks. We have put in multiple requests to have it fixed but... nothing. We went in and talked to them and they said "We will try our best but no promises". We are literally paying sixty dollars for utilities that aren't even being provided. Not to mention the disgusting dumpsters in the parking lot that are always overflowing. Also there's not enough parking so there have been multiple crashes in the parking lot and cars have been blocked in multiple times. SUCH a joke to live here.

My friends recommend to me do not choose to live here, but I didn't listen because I really liked the location. I should have listened to him. I came to the community and took a look in July, and I finished my application on the same day. The manager told me there was one private room left, and they would tell me the result. I called and visited the office few times to make sure I can move in for sure, they just received my name and never called me back and respond. Also I got a massage about moving in on the 16th, but when I made a phone call on the 13th, they told me that I am not in their

The new manager of University Gateway, Greg, has been and is hard at work getting the apartments back in shape. I just got a lease for a private room and this is the best place I've ever had away from home. Sure there have been problems in the past that can't (and shouldn't be) overlooked, but at the present (8/2020) things have definitely been the best here that they have ever been. Some of the current apartments are looking as good or slightly better than the spotless "display/model" apartment that is shown to potential residents and their families. Apartments that are

My daughter is attending UVU, and I'm writing this as a warning to other parents and students. Do not live here!!! This place is not safe, and definitely not worth the money. It's actually not student housing. You don't have to be a student to live here, so you get a lot of people who just want cheap housing. My daughter has been continually harassed by men who live here, and has had horrible roommate situations. You can have "guests" over for 3 nights in a row, and then they only have to leave for one night, and they can come back for 3 more. This cycle doesn&apos

Management is horrible and incredibly intrusive. They feel as if they have the right to walk into the apartments at any time they please. If you submit a maintenance request, there's a 50-50 chance that they'll actually respond.
"newly remodeled" means absolutely nothing. After about 5 months of living there, the dishwasher stopped working and I sent in a maintenance request. It took a week for me to realize that they weren't going to do anything about it, so I sent in another request. Finally after a few more days, management sent someone to look at the dishwasher. After

Do not live here!!!! This is the absolute worst apartment I have ever seen. On move in date nothing was done. Our shower didn't work, our toilet didn't work, my desk wasn't put together. They didn't even clean my apartment on move in day. I moved in and the people that lived there before still had dirty dishes in the sink that they didn't clean up and we had garbage bags on our balcony. University gateway has THE WORST customer service. The manager is horrible. They never answered calls and never knew what they were doing. Anytime you call you have to call multiple times

My daughter is attending UVU and applied for an apartment online. She was told she had a reserved private room pending application approval. She was told us they would not give away her room and we had a guaranteed space until we received approval. 4 days later after numerous phone calls and no answer from the manager. I got through to someone who said she could have a shared room, not a private room if we paid two months rent up front plus the deposit. The process was too long and even with going into the leasing office we were given the run around for three days. Even though my credit affected

If I could go lower I would. I lived at University Gateway for two years and the management is HORRIBLE. I promise you that being close to UVU is not worth it when you have to deal with incompetent management and horrible book keeping.
The management keeps changing, they keep trying to find ways to charge you more, and the apartment is ghetto quality. Don't let the renovated floors of the hall and kitchen fool you. The apartments are old, they need new wall paint, a hot cycle does not exist in the laundry room (they force you to buy a laundry card and cold water comes out regardless
